Stayed here in 2012. Probably the most beautiful beach in Samoa, but somewhat difficult location to access. The staff really leaves you to yourself but there's always breakfast and dinner waiting. We spent a really nice evening talking with the owner. Quite often there's no one else there, which to me is a good thing. Very inexpensive.

I stayed 2 nights, was planning to stay for 4, but asked my money back for the 2. The owner gave me my money back, but after that in the dark of the evening there happened a robbery. My wallet got stolen from my fale, funny thing that the fale next door didn't have lights, but nothing was stolen from... More

This is definitely the best Spot on the Island to have one's peace and get a rest from anything. It's kinda hard to find a way to get there, since the bus stops at the main road and it's a 4 km walk to the resort. But hitchhiking is always an option. When we arrived the place looked kinda closed... More

Arrived at Falealupo Beach Fales in the afternoon without having made a booking and were made welcome immediately and were offered a fruit plate. Facilities are basic and you may be disappointed if seeking a 5 star resort. That said, this was the best snorkelling we experienced on Savai'i (recommend bringing your own gear and water shoes). For those looking... More

We had a fantastic unforgettable experience at this place. Absolutely not any comfort - in a terrible state toilet and shower with cold water, etc. The owners have no idea how to deal with guests. But very beautiful, peaceful, not a tourist area at all! If you want privacy and are willing to sacrifice comfort is the perfect place to... More

Arrived at Falealupo Beach Fales, was welcomed and offered a bottle of water. However once inside we discovered there was no running water, a note in the bathroom said it would be sorted tomorrow - the note did not look new. We ordered dinner at approximately 7:30pm, at 6:45pm we heard a gong and assumed that maybe it was indicating... More

We spent the daytime snorkeling, fishing and swimming, watched the sunset over the ocean, ate yummy home cooked Samoan cuisine and then gazed at the clear and bright night sky. The beach is my favorite in Samoa (the pictures speak for themselves). This place is definitely off the beaten track, but worth the effort. The family who run the fales... More

A bit of a challenge getting here with no public transport - but the effort hitching was certainly worth it. Great views, beach, snorkling, food & sunset. We loved the horizontal coconut tree set in concrete! Would be exciting in a westerly gale!

While we were having dinner in the communal dinner area, the young guy who hung our mosquito nets above our bed stole from our wallet. We had just finished counting our money - and when we came back there was 200 tala missing.( Lucky for us he didnt take the lot - he could have had 2000 tala. We told... More
