We came to Bayview Resort looking for someplace peaceful and private to celebrate our wedding and honeymoon. The original plan was to stay for 7 days, then move on to another place. However, after just a few days, it was clear we would be extending our trip to stay for a full 2 weeks. We had discovered a lovely hidden... More

Had a really pleasant 3 nights here recently. A unique location right on the lava fields. A small waterfront area with a rocky entrance to the lagoon. Tried snorkelling, but the water was a bit murky. Nice fresh water natural pool set in the lava too. But what I certainly enjoyed was sitting on our deck watching over the water... More

In the middle of the Savaii lava field, stands an oasis called Bayview Resort. Fairly new, and continuing to expand (March 2015) but that does not take away from a great place to have fun and relax. A surprise when you step in the waters of the lagoon awaits you. A chill from the cold water will shock you at... More

We stayed here for only a couple of days- I wish it had been longer! I found the bungalow style rooms very comfortable with the basics covered- For me the location on the bay was one of the most amazing parts of my stay- What a view! The food was of a good quality, although I felt that more of... More

We stayed at Bayview Resort while on Savai'i. They are a family owned business employing staff from the local village and hence our stay felt very homely from the onset. There is a short picturesque drive before you reach the main building. They offer value for money accommodation and were in fact one of the cheapest options on the island... More

Our visit to Savaii coincided with a friends wedding further around the island ,so after the local bus trip from the ferry, of about an hour,it was great to be greeted by Sesilia and fellow staff with smiling faces and friendly , relaxing manners. Our air-con room, right near the lagoon, was ideal for the 2 humid nights we stayed there... More

Beautiful affordable accommodation on the edge of the lagoon, staff's professional and very friendly, breakfast included and kayaks available if you fancy a little exercise in the lagoon before breakfast. Enjoyed the local dishes and simply a paradise away from home...... A.Koro

We arrived at Bay-view hot and tired after cycling from Lano. We received a lovely welcome and were taken to our room which I am sure was upgraded. Our room overlooked the lagoon a lovely position. Deck chairs were available by the waters edge and we used the kayaks every day. We ate each night in the dinning room and... More
