fantastic beach....reef.....fales are quite large...a little too close to each other....in low season it makes no difference...you have the whole place for yourself anyway.....food simple but tasty.....very friendly staff.....very nice dining terrace with gorgeus view of the sea......relaxed.....you will miss it when you back in the rat race.....

I just can't believe I was the first Asian customer there. Ha ha! Beautiful beach and helpful staff. Though the food was simple, and beverage was expensive than I thought. They helped me to set up a table and chair in my fale so that I can work with beautiful view. And the ocean water was warm you can go... More

We stayed at Lauiula for 2 nights during our stay in Samoa. The Fales are traditional and situated on a small stretch of fine sand beach with lovely views. The Fales are a little bit small and very close together (which might not have left much privacy if the place had more guests during our stay but because it was... More

I stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of November. Because it wasn't busy I got upgrated from jade to a closed fale which included a proper bed and a fridge. The toilet and shower is very close and the beach begins at your front door. Staff (jade in particular) is very helpful. The meals were very tasty. All... More

After having so much rain in Savaii the day before I was to leave the river was flooded and I could not pass to get back to my family. Panicking and upset I pulled in to Lauiula beach fales where I met an absolute angel called Jade. I had no way to contact my family so she called to let... More

I'm genuinely surprised that this place has so many positive reviews. I think maybe people have too low expectations. I booked in for 9 nights and only managed to stay 3. The only good thing I have to say is that they did refund my money. Another couple who checked in the same day as me only managed to stay... More

Peacful and beautiful place with friendly and helpful staff. Stayed there my first two nights on Savaii and decided to go back for one more night before going back to Upolu. Fales and facilities are quite basic but clean and that is all you need. Breakfast and dinner included. For dinner homemade food. Portions were so big that I had... More

My family of 7 have stayed at Lauiula Beach Fales every year we have gone home to Samoa 5 consecutive years including our recent trip 2weeks ago. Every year we have thoroughly enjoyed our experience and I have always written a review highlighting that our hosts Richard and his wife Mafa were the key to Lauiula as Richard gave it... More

It's a fale with a mattress, sheets and a mozzie net.. Retractable bamboo shutter walls that you never put down and every fale is no further than 3 metres from the waters edge (low tide)... The place is on the edge of a lagoon with a surf reef about 800 metres off shore and lots of fish in the lagoon... More
