We spent one night /two days here recently and wished we could have stayed longer. This was by far the most relaxing experience we've ever had - lazing in the fale, snorkelling in the crystal clear water, going to bed after dinner and rising with the sun. As people have mentioned already, there us nothing on the island except for... More

Have been here twice and still love it. Very rustic, but you won't find anything like this for the price. Breakfast and dinner are included. You need to bring snacks, drinks and lunch as you are on an island a mile off the coast of Upolu and there are no stores, restaurants or anything. You can hike around the island... More

Really nice fales right on the beach. The place is super-nice and super-safe. Great place to find other people to talk to. Food is great. Good place to completely disconnect from civilization. Very friendly staff.

Such a sweet experience being on this island for two days with just a few other people at the same time. Waking up with the sun, going to bed after dinner. Embracing nature to the full during the day. It's the place to completely disconnect, unwind, reflect, I really enjoyed the quietness and piece. Did heaps of swimming, reading, some... More

You just have to do it! It was one of the best stays of our trip. Staying on your own island with just a few other guests. Nice clean beach with no waves made it the perfect place for snorkeling and a peaceful sleep. The food was tasty and I loved their way of notifying us that the food was... More

Staying on Namua Island is an unbeatable experience, for the sense of having a tropical island all to yourself. There are approx.11 fales so can only accommodate a select number, and the somewhat rustic amenities means you're usually with more adventurous travellers. I loved being summoned to dinner and breakfast with the traditional wooden drum, and then eating at the... More

Namua Island Resort is a 10 minute boat ride from Mutiatele, a village 3km from Lalomanu. It is a pretty, uninhabited island. We caught a taxi to the wharf, waited for the boat to take us over. The boat arrived - a small aluminium dinghy. This was ok at this stage, (although for others it may not be). Arrived there,... More

Namu'a itself is a dream- an isolated off-the-grid island where you might just see sea turtles as you approach it by boat. I've stayed here 3 times, and each time was absolutely wonderful- the family that runs this fale resort takes excellent care of its guests and are a delight to talk with. The food is always amazing- the third... More

Beautiful location - secluded and quiet. Hospitable staff and easy fun snorkelling right off the beach. Fales are standard but more comfortable than some others we stayed in later on our trip. Meals were very generous and well-done. Was great for our family as the kiddo had plenty of room to run but was contained by the geography. Would also... More
