Fernando, the manager, goes out of his way to make everyone feel comfortable. The food was great, the view was spectacular and the rooms (we stayed in one of the newer buildings) was quite comfortable. The flashlights they left on our nightstands was a nice touch.

My family and I had a great time and was well taken care of. Food was catered to our time and with a great selection to chose from. A great place to relax and to enjoy the scenery. We felt as it was our home. We will visit again.

Fernando, the manager, was friendly and hospitable. The hacienda was absolutely beautiful and comfortable! The reception with food and wine was an added positive touch. The food was above average. Free wifi is present only in the main house. Only 10 individuals could connect to the internet at the same time.

This hacienda has been lovingly restored. New rooms have been added in an additional building and they also are very nice. We stayed only one night, had a welcoming meet and greet and then a fine dinner. Thank you for allowing us to see a special part of Ecuador and a special thanks to Fernando for his gracious welcome and... More

The historic property has been renovated into a lovely inn with a wonderful restaurant. The grounds are most attractive and the view of the mountains is breath taking. The property's manager is also a chef and our meals were delicious.

nice room, nice surroundings, far from everywhere, annoying, insulting and pushy manager, very tasty but very very small breakfast, very nice walk in their private cloud forest, so yes, i have very mixed feelings about this hacienda, to say the least

This was by far one of my favorite hotels on a 14 day tour of Ecuador. The rooms were absolutely beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The family house had a great common room area- the common room and the front two bedrooms had incredible views of the mountainside and volcano. I really wish we were here while the volcano was erupting... More

I did have altitude sickness due to the height BUT Fernando whipped up a brew that really helped me feel better, which goes to show the wonderful hospitality! The food and room were absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
