We stayed at this hotel for four nights, taking some time to walk in the area. It is a family run hotel with good quality accommodation, a small swimming pool and great breakfasts. Our hosts provided lots of information and support to help us make the most of our stay. Especially- do not miss the pizzas - they are really... More

A friend recommended this hotel, and I totally understand why! We made reservations in advance and upon arrival we were treated as family. We were quickly checked in and the hostess told us a lot about the city of Banos. Since we were there for outdoor activities, she recommended several hiking trails in the mountains around the city. We were... More

The hotel was very nice, location was good although walking at night it felt a little bit isolated. The staff overall was good, one of the ladies was not very warm. The breakfast was not good at all, very small portions and not too much flavor. Also the jacuzzi was not working so the amenities weren't much of a perk.

Great place, I would stay here again! Kids loved the pool! The restaurants area are good as well, good food. They did have a list of nearby restaurants as well and some offered a discount for hotel guests. We had fun and it was great! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved the layout of the room and it's decor.... More

When we arrived, the hotel looked closed as the pool was covered up and not available for use. They were also doing major repairs to the roof and other renovations. The room was clean and spacious (double plus single beds) with a nice view of the mountains. We are a couple with a small child and when we were at... More

My wife and I spent a month traveling down the spine of the Ecuadorian Andes and the Napolitano was my favorite hotel. I also really enjoyed Baños. I particularly loved that I could walk to the mountains and immedately begin climbing on safe, challenging, and interesting trails. This is a family run restaurant and they do a fabulous job. We... I cannot say enough about the Repetto family that runs this hotel. They are warm, wonderful hosts and go all-out to make their guests comfortable. We took a great tour of the area with the owner Ivan, on which we got to see a lot more than if we had rented bikes, and that night, he walked us to the... More

This place was beyond our expectations. We had our own "appartment" in the hotel with a bedroom and room with a table and a kitchen. It was very quiet besides some dogs barking once in a while. The service was excellent, the daugther Carla was VERY helpfull with arranging tours from the hotel (Cayoning, River Rafting, Canopy, waterfall sightseeing) The... More
