Road is busy and loud so ask for room on other side. Quiet garden patio surrounded by rooms, each with a hammock. Healthy delicious breakfast included. Laundry service available, walking distance to everything in town. Modern and clean.

We moved to La Floresta after a slightly disappointing stay elsewhere in Banos. We loved it. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was bright, comfortable and very clean and there was a nice, calm atmosphere about the place. The buffet breakfast included had a good range of tasty options and the wifi as good throughout. We felt it... More

Attractive surroundings, comfortable bed and a good breakfast. Helpful staff: I asked about the volcano, so the lady showed me on the map where to cross the bridge and walk up the other side. Also let me into my room quickly and cheerfully when I locked myself out. Yes, there are youthful tour groups and they did make a bit... More

I went there with my partner and we had quite a time, four days. Location: Perfect to relax yourself and near to everything. Very safe Rooms: Nice decoration (really from the andes), lovely environment, it has fresh water containers everywhere. it has comfy hammocks where you can enjoy watching the hummingbirds hovering. At night you can watch the moon, or... More

We had booked a twin bed room, but our room was enormous with 3 beds! This hotel is in a quiet street, but yet is just a short distance from the main square. Good WiFi throughout, but no room safe. There were safe keeping facilities available at reception, but of course not as convenient as having one's own room safe.... More

We took a quick, last minute trip to Banos (me, wife and two small kids). The hotel itself is very comfortable and well located - just close enough to the center for an easy walk, but far enough away to not hear any noise. Bedrooms were clean and well set up, and the breakfast was ample. The only problem we... More

This is one of the better hotels in Ecuador and it is centrally located: we walked from the Banos bus station to the hotel which is a 10 minute stroll through the downtown and got acquainted with the streets. Other wise a taxi should cost about $1. Quick access to restaurants, shopping, activities, laundry, and thermal baths. It's a $1.50... More

Raised and traveled with 4 sons, travelling with teenage girls very different - need amenities that boys would not consider important. La Floresta was an excellent choice, large well decorated rooms, lots of hot water, great breakfasts, good internet and wonderful gardens and great fireplace in the lounge. Staff were friendly and helpful (extra towels). They arranged tours for us... More

La Floresta was lovely. Room was beautiful, with a little balcony overlooking a courtyard with plants. Bathroom was clean, service was great. They even allowed us to use their laundry service on the day we were checking out and allowed us to pick it up afterward. The breakfast that is included was delicious. And they have a cute little gift... More

After traveling in Ecuador for over a month, I stayed at La Floresta with my teenaged son for two nights...it was one of the best hotels I've stayed at. Beautifully decorated with native textiles and art, warm and clean rooms and hot showers, delicious breakfast, and super helpful, friendly staff. They went above and beyond; as in storing and retrieving... More
