We were so happy here, we could've stayed forever! We knew we were going to love staying here the minute we walked in. The structure is lovely, lots of light, built sustainably, and beautiful. The rooms were large, the water hot and views were gorgeous. Enrique and Jemima were very helpful, friendly and just great all around. Breakfast everyday (included)... More

We stayed at Casa Verde when the two hotels that had been recommended to us were either booked or insanely expensive. We stayed in the "family room" for two adults and two kids. I was surprised at how large the room is-definitely plenty of room for all of us to spread out. The hotel is very clean and has a... More

I spent 2 nights at Casa Verde and was sad to leave. The place is sooo comfortable with an amazing view. The rooms were huge and very comfortable. Jemima was super helpful with suggesting things to do. It's a good walk if you want to go into town (30 minutes), or a cheap cab ride if you are not interested... More

Welcoming with a pleasant atmosphere. It is a little out of town, which I like. It is quite and not far to walk if you want a beer, meal or shopping. Limited kitchen but you can easily make a lunch to take walking etc. The host provides excellent information about tourist activities and makes bookings on you behalf. A healthy... More

We had a nice stay in a spacious and clean room of La Casa Verde. The guest house is just a few minutes by cab (2 dollar) from the city center and has a view on the river and mountains. The reception was friendly and helpful. They arranged a trip (good value for money) for us. If you stay here... More

We stayed at this lodging for 4 days and had such a wonderful time. After doing all the adventure activities in Banos it was nice to come back and relax on the outside deck. It's a little out of town (2kms) but that is what makes it so relaxing, beautiful views of the river and no traffic noise and a... More

This Eco Guest House was our last stop of a 25 day adventure through Ecuador. It was the only place we stayed that had hot showers! Jemima and Quique who were the managers at the time because the owners went on a 6 month vacation (Good for them right?!) were extremely welcoming, great to talk too, and knew EVERYTHING about... This was a wonderful place to stay as we explored Banos. The rooms were lovely, the hosts were SO helpful, and we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. Great recommendations for activities. Thank you to Jemima and Kique for your awesome hospitality!

I came here mostly to relax before the more active part of my journey. I wanted beautiful surroundings, comfort, good breakfast and nice hosts. That's exactly what I got. If you want lots of action during the day, Jemima and Kike are more than willing to give you advice or contact the agencies to arrange activities such as zip lining,... More

The owners are away "for a few months". Apparently Jemima and her Argentinian partner are in charge and seem to know very little about Baños other than what is in the printed material. She could not even tell me if there was any restaurant within walking distance open on a Sunday night (since they don't offer dinner on weekends!!!!!). I... More

Sorry to hear you had such a disappointing experience at la casa verde. We endeavor to give our guests the best possible experience so it’s a shame you felt 'misled’. Our family have gone away for a much needed break. la casa verde is our baby and so we consider managers very carefully before leaving them in charge. Jemima and... More
