Had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for 1 night, such a shame as would have liked to spend another night there. Has a cosy feeling, lovely comfortable rooms overlooking Ushuaia. Very friendly staff, great service and the food was excellent. Apart from the location being away from town, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful little hotel waaaay up on the hill overlooking the city. Great views of the city and the harbor from all rooms. Free taxi service is provided to the center of the city until 7 pm though. Rooms are basic lodging, but very clean, comfortable and quiet. Service was very prompt and thorough. Breakfast buffet was very good with a... More

Eleven of us stayed here. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Rooms were clean and tidy, though the public rooms were a little "tired". Breakfast was quite acceptable with a reasonable choice. There is a free taxi service into town and back until 1900, otherwise it is a 35 minute walk downhill or a 45 minute walk back... More

The rooms are simple but nicely furnished, clean and functional. The breakfast buffet is better than most with both hot and cold dishes. I did not eat lunches or dinners there. The positive is that it's up the hill so it had great views overlooking Ushuaia and is close to Chez Manu restaurant. The negative is also that it's up... More

This understated hotel, has the most magnificent view of any hotel in Ushuaia. It was clean, comfortable, and easy to get to town. They provided a taxi to and from town and that was a plus. I ordered a chicken baguette in the bar and was mistakenly brought one with lamb. It was a wonderful mistake. Easily the BEST lamb I... More

Struggling to find something really positive here - the views are outstanding and it was quiet. From the outset we were taken to the lifts by the staff member (no porters so we carried our own luggage) and she struggles to get the lift to work only to find our room is actually on the same level as reception, just... Los Acebos is a perfectly acceptable hotel with great views. The rooms are functional and clean, and the staff is very helpful. However, its location high on a hill really is inconvenient. The hotel provides free taxi service into Ushuaia but only until 7:00 pm. This means that if you want to have dinner at a restaurant in town and... More

I took a photo from just outside the hotel that ranks among my all-time favorite travel shots. It looks like a Japanese print it is so exotically beautiful and simple. Los Acebos starts with a sumptuous spot above the Beagle Channel and the town of Ushuaia shown wonderfully through giant windows in the lobby, restaurant and rooms. But visitors pay... More

The hotel sits high on mountain, half way to the top, and was built to privilege the view. All rooms and common areas have huge windows to offer guests panoramic view! Nice and cozy rooms, great shower. Kudos to the staff, always kind and willing to make an extra effort to help. Breakfast was the only thing that didn't meet... More

And Los Acebos did not provide these. We cut them some slack over Christmas figuring these were the mistakes of a rookie skeleton crew, but it was the same after the holiday. We brought in our own breakfast food. It is also expensive. They advertised a Christmas Eve dinner for $160 per person and we were shocked to discover that... More
