This cabin was by far the best place we've ever stayed at. From the impossibly beautiful log cabin to the freshly baked loaf of bread delivered each day, this place was absolutely perfect. My boyfriend and I spent my 30th birthday in Ushuaia and stayed at Cabanas del Beagle. The proprietor, Alejandro, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. He gave us great restaurant and sightseeing recommendations and made sure we were comfortable. Cabanas del Beagle is outstanding! Three hand-built cabins on a hill overlooking Beagle Channel in Ushuaia. It is walking distance to the little town nearby but out of the tourist fray. I have just returned from a big trip to Tierra del Fuego and Antarctica, and spent a few days in Ushuaia, staying at Cabanas del Beagle. Absolutely fanastic place to stay in Ushuaia. We have been travelling in south america for a year and this remains one of the best places we have stayed. I have been in Ushuaia and have spent some days in "Las Cabañas del Beagle" managed by Alejandro and Veronica Chizzini. It is absolutely fantastic!! Great and warm welcome, the cabins are beautifull and the attention exceptional! It is a fantastic place to be in enjoying the outstanding views of the Beagle Channel! Highly recomandable!! more
