We stayed here at the beginning of January - I'd made a mistake on a hotel booking in Ushuaia, and this was the only place with room for us! Thank you! We stayed in what was described as a "superior room" - in fact it was a wonderful log cabin (more like a house, actually), which was amazing. Very beautiful,... More

The hotel is outside Ushuaia (about 5 km). The rooms are small and the view is only for trees. The Spa is not working so it is not worth at all to go there. People not very polite and friendly. Reception closed most of the time (you have to go to the Tea Shop).

This hotel is a series of cabins and cabanas that are located at the base of the Martial Glacier, which is the facilities' major plus. I paid approximately $300/night for a king size bed in a cabin that had a somewhat obstructed view of the Beagle Channel. The room was clean, but the smell of air freshener was a little... More

Rather than here i will simply copy and paste below the email compliant I sent to the hotel after our visit. A complaint which i received no response to, much in keeping with the level of service afforded to us during our visit. I have never complained in writing before, nor posted on trip advisor. Anyway... We stayed at Cumbres... More

Nestled at the base of Glacier Martial, the guesthouse exudes a quaint, cottage charm. In a very tranquil location, it really felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, but in a great way. We stayed in the huge standard room which was exquisitely decorated - snuggly sofa, candles scattered throughout and enormous bed with the most comfortable bedding.... More

Stayed for 2 nights at the end of the season in April 2010. Took two lodges. Excellent facilities. Great layout and location. Unique style and buildings. Really special place. Open fires, jacuzzi bath over looking the forest and Beagle channel. Bar fridge. Everything you need for a great romatic break. Missing a few slight things - not nit picking, but... More

Friendy and helful staff, and Maria the owner. The hotel had a great view overlooking the the Canal Beagle and the city. The breakfast is perfect. La Casa de Te is a real cozy place, the and the cakes a suit dream. I recommend.

We had a very nice stay at Cumbres del Martial in Ushuaia, and can definitely recommend it. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and it appears that it may be a family-run operation. It is a little far from town, but a couple of daily seven dollar taxi rides were not a problem, and there were pretty much always taxis waiting... More

The hotel is 7km from town up a series of hairpins. It is at the bottom of the chairlift. There are a number of cabins and a block of several small rooms located amongst trees. We had a huge cabin with jacuzzi and log fire and an enormous bed upstairs, although oddly all the hanging space was downstairs. Access to... More

Very homey place. We liked the convenience of the detached rooms and the views of the forest. Argentines love cakes and tea, specially in cold places like Patagonia. Make sure you try their "tortas" with great tea assortment. Very nice to go for a walk in the morning or in the evening when you come back from your daily excursions.
