Tierra de Leyendas is a modern and comfortable small (boutique) hotel on the western outskirts of Ushuaia. It is set on a small rise with stunning views over the snow-capped mountains across Beagle Channel and over the colourful outer suburbs on the hillsides behind Ushuaia. The rooms are well appointed, very clean and comfortable with great views. Ours had a... More

This hotel sits up and out of the main town of Ushuaia which gives it a wonderful view over the Beagle Channel and the Chilean Andes. Although we booked for 2 nights, we ended up only staying for one after being bumped off our afternoon flight from Bs As - which was a terrible shame because it is a lovely... More

We very much enjoyed our 3-night stay here: nice room and view and a great dinner the first night. Staff was very helpful. But it was pretty expensive and we had to take a cab to and from town several times, so it was relatively expensive. Overall, great experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at this very well run hosteria. It is not a cheap option, but quality oozes out everywhere. We had a very comfortable room, ensuring that we had 3 very restful nights sleep. The location is very quiet, with lovely views from the rooms and the restaurant. Sebastian comes with a very good pedigree, so we... More

We stayed here four nights in total – two nights on either side of our Antartica cruise. We had a superior room the first two nights and the standard double room the last two nights. Both rooms were good. Beds were fairly comfortable, lots of hot water, and clean. The staff and owners were great. We ate dinner at the... More

It's a little pricier than other spots, but you would certainly not regret staying here. The hotel is on the edge of town, looking back toward it and the Beagle Channel. Big windows on the back of the home stare out at water and mountains...stunning! The staff was friendly and the food was very good. Excellent wine list. Rooms were... More

Tierra de Leyendas is a beautiful, small hotel located in a quiet part of Ushuaia -- which means you'll be able to get a good night of sleep and, weather permitting, will also take advantage of great views of the mountains. On the other hand, I've found a bit tiring to ask for a taxi every time we wanted to... More

I think I fell victim to the reviews on the site of TdL. There is nothing less than good about this place: the rooms are fairly spacious, nicely furnished and immaculately clean, have good views and are quiet. Breakfast is good quality and decent variety. But the hotel didn't seem especially romantic to me (no tub or robes and slippers)... More

My family and I enjoyed staying at this cozy hotel. Everyone was really kind and always available to help us when we needed something. They helped us making a reservation for the excursions. We love all the hotel staffs! The food was excellent! We enjoyed having breakfast while looking at the great view in the morning. Sometimes you find beautiful... More
