We stayed here four nights in total – two nights on either side of our Antartica cruise. We had a superior room the first two nights and the standard double room the last two nights. Both rooms were good. Beds were fairly comfortable, lots of hot water, and clean. The staff and owners were great. We ate dinner at the... More

It's a little pricier than other spots, but you would certainly not regret staying here. The hotel is on the edge of town, looking back toward it and the Beagle Channel. Big windows on the back of the home stare out at water and mountains...stunning! The staff was friendly and the food was very good. Excellent wine list. Rooms were... More

Tierra de Leyendas is a beautiful, small hotel located in a quiet part of Ushuaia -- which means you'll be able to get a good night of sleep and, weather permitting, will also take advantage of great views of the mountains. On the other hand, I've found a bit tiring to ask for a taxi every time we wanted to... More

I think I fell victim to the reviews on the site of TdL. There is nothing less than good about this place: the rooms are fairly spacious, nicely furnished and immaculately clean, have good views and are quiet. Breakfast is good quality and decent variety. But the hotel didn't seem especially romantic to me (no tub or robes and slippers)... More

My family and I enjoyed staying at this cozy hotel. Everyone was really kind and always available to help us when we needed something. They helped us making a reservation for the excursions. We love all the hotel staffs! The food was excellent! We enjoyed having breakfast while looking at the great view in the morning. Sometimes you find beautiful... More

We spent 2 nights in Ushuaia as part of our honeymoon trip. Loved the hotel and the service. Its more of a bed & breakfast concept hotel, our room had a jacuzzi so it was wonderful to get in after our hiking & canoeing excursion. Try the restaurant, Sebastian (owner and chef) cooked an amazing dinner for us,. By the... More

We stayed several days at this absolutely beautiful hotel in Sept. 2014. We had wonderfully clean, warm rooms with beautiful views of the Beagle Channel. Sebastian, the mgr/owner was absolutely great. He drove us to an appt. picked us up at the airport after the airline cancelled the flight back to BA. This hotel is reasonable, the food, especially the... More

Three nights here. The most hospitable of accommodation at the End of the World. Lovely room with Heated floors (we had a superb view over the Beagle Channel); lovely breakfast; in-house restaurant regarded as one of the best in Ushuaia; close to town but not right in the centre (a short bus or taxi ride away); friendly, helpful service -... We visited Ushuaia after leaving a nice hotel in Rio de Janeiro. I knew that Tierra de Leyendas had high ratings on TripAdvisor, but as we pulled up, we had some reservations. It appears to be in a residential area, and looks like a residence more than a hotel. It functions more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel.... More
