Stunning location on the Beagle Channel overlooking Navarino Island. Really friendly and helpful staff. Thoroughly recommend Room 28 - a junior suite (approx 400 pesos) ; one of the best hotel rooms we've ever had. As previously stated, the only disappointment was the rather ordinary breakfasts. Great location. Very friendly staff. 10 minutes drive ( regular complimentary shuttle is available and cab is dirt cheap) to the center of the town. Not quite in the centre of town, its actually located just a 5 minute ride into town along the bay with a spectacular view. The staff were perhaps the most helpful hotel staff i've ever met. The rooms are comfortable, clean and though the hotel is aging it is in good condition. The restaurant serves a paltry free breakfast and the lunch/dinner serving are uninspired (best to go to town $3 US by taxi). The free shuttle bus is not worth waiting for... The hotel is located about 10 minutes away from downtown, which is fine. There isn't much to do in downtown (at least when we were there in late September). There is a free shuttle that runs a few times a day (and at night). But a cab ride only costs about US$2-3. The rooms and bathrooms are a good size... more

The hotel is not thrilling but it is clean and comfortable and the staff are super friendly. The spa bath was a welcome surpise and we used it often to counter-effect the cold weather!
