This place was a bit further away from the city, but if you wanted, you could walk to everything in about 20 or 25 minutes, including Puerto Ushuaia. The doors at this hotel close very loudly though. When people close them slightly, it sounds like they are slamming them, which they are not. We could hear doors closing all night... More

Nice hotel, with a spectacular view of the mountains and possibly the sea. The rooms are good, but the shower was not optimal. The breakfast did not have egg-dishes, which is quite unusual in Argentina. Staff was nice, but not very responsive. Average is the right description!

The best part of this hotel is the close-ish location to downtown and the Day/Afternoon/Night Front Desk Staff. Adrian gave particularly wonderful restaurant recommendations. Day clerk (Nicholas?) also very helpful, efficient. The lobby is nice, and if only the rooms lived up to the lobby/lobby facilities. The rooms were tiny and smelled quite musty. Humidity frequently built up in the... More

We stayed for a couple of nights at Las Lengas in association with an Antarctica, Falklands & South Georgia Island cruise. Inasmuch as the cruise was fabulous, putting up with Las Lengas was acceptable. However, I would never choose to stay here if given another chance. I hasten to point out, however, that the staff members were extremely pleasant and... More

The hotel is about a 15 min walk from the main pier in Ushuaia and about 10 mins from the main street. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had cereal, pastries, coffee, and fruit. The walls in the hotel are thin and the twin room is small. Overall, I was satisfied with... More

We stayed 4 night here, and the bathroom was miniscule but the room ok. The breakfast is super heavy on bread, the fruit salad from a tin and the choice is cheese or ham. There is no restaurant and you are a good1km from the Main Street and eateries there. The afternoon receptionist was at best indifferent, but luckily the... More

First off the positives: The people serving are great and so are the views from the foyer. However, the dirty walls, peeling paint work, uncovered electrical sockets & wires in rooms (Dangerous as well!), holes in curtains, outlook over construction sites, no real room to sit on the toilet, restaurant in a conference room (I think the proper restaurant is... We spent an overnight at the Hotel Las Lengas. It was pretty mediocre. The rooms are very small, there is no restaurant and the location is inconvenient. I would stay at one of the hotel's closer to town if I were to return. They have a mediocre breakfast available in the morning.

Nice hotel reasonably close to the center of town and with nice views. Only stayed here for one night but had a comfy stay. The wifi and breakfast are pretty good. The hotel is not luxurious by any measure but I would describe it as more than adequate for a night.

We were booked here by our cruise company (Quark) and booked an extra night with them for early arrival. At $170 per night US$ this may be the worst value experienced in 25 years of business travel and 20 years of retirement travel. Restaurant was closed for reconstruction. Major construction going on outside our room until 9:15 at night after... More
