This hotel serves as major meting point for cruise passengers, many waiting to connect with flights, etc. It gets a lot of traffic, public areas busy. For that purpose, its location can't be beat. In addition to the cruise starting point, we added some extra days to tour the region, and it was also very convenient for that, a block... More

I was assigned this hotel as a part of an Antarctica tour. The location was good, the staff friendly but the room was very small, especially for the price. There are other hotels which are nicer and much cheaper. It is definitely worth shopping around to get something nicer

Overall, the hotel should be considered as a transit stop and nothing more. It was definitely up to the standard of other hotels in Argentina: - minimal room amenities (no bathroom plugs, room service menu - poor restaurant service (set my own table for breakfast) - no evacuation diagram in the room - fitness room is only accessible during the... Disappointed. The rooms were tired and small although the bed, sheets and towels were excellent. Bathroom was newly refurbished but again too small. Breakfast was not replenished speedily enough, eggs were cold and hot water for drinks was luke warm. Reception staff OK but not particulalry friendly. Lounge area near the bar was grubby, tables not cleared and floor covered... More

We stayed two nights. Its a comfortable hotel. Nothing glamorous. Needs some carpet replaced but daily breakfast has fresh fruit.rolls cereals and eggs and sandwich machine to make hot pressed breakfast sandwiches. Bathroom nice and pleasantly surprised there is a refrigerator in room. Conveniently located for walks around town and close to THE port. Wifi sketchy

Stayed 2 nights after an expedition cruise. Hotel was clean, comfortable, well equipped and an excellent location. Service was adequate at reception, with the staff 'going through the motions' with no cheerfulness. Breakfast was OK, but service in the bar/café was poor. Ushuaia is essentially a transit town for tour ships and tourist services reflect the 'moving client' mentality -... More

Disappointed with this hotel, considering how expensive it is. The rooms were quite pokey and the breakfast was very poor - limited food items and it took them forever to replace cutlery, etc. The only thing good about it was the central location.

Swe stayed one night before boarding our ship to Antarctica. Excellent location and quiet comfortable room. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The included breakfast was good too. No complaints at all with this hotel.

We stayed one night here in January prior to an Antarctic expedition so we put up with unsatisfactory room (the partition door was so thin that you could heard every word from next door) and the fairly useless 'service' in the dining/breakfast area. The morning of our departure, breakfast was chaotic, with no plates, glasses, cups, cutlery, food! Until we... More

When you see a H. Stern shop in a hotel you already know it's aspiring to a certain level .The loby is big , nice , the rooms are a bit less ,abit plain and the carpet on the corridors shows obvious signs of being dated . The breakfast is rather basic also . On the other should you consider... More
