We were booked into this hotel by our cruise company, and, while it was very conveniently located and our triple room was spacious, the wifi connection was very dodgy and it was overpriced. OK for one night before a cruise but I wouldn't recommend it for an extended stay.

On the season, this hotel seems to be fully packed with Antarctica's travellers. We were lucky enough to be no exception, but the hotel itself was far from being exceptional (we didn't choose it). An average room, a less than average breakfast, a decent WiFi, a very central location... and that's it.

The hotel in itself may be nice, it's new and well located. I checked in upon returning from a couple of days on an excursion so I was looking forward to a hot shower. I checked in and was given the key to my room. The room was large enough but was very dark. The window was at asphalt level... More

We stayed here twice, going and coming from Antarctica. The first experience was good. We were given a full suite with enough room to throw a party and the dinner and lunch we got in the restaurant was good with good service. Second time round the ordinary room we were given was rather pokey and noisy. The room safe didn't... More

Not many hotels available. This one is close to the channel. We stayed one night only, were taking a cruise to Antarctica the following day. It has free internet in designated areas, which helps when you are far from home. We had breakfast included which was continental style. Staff seemed friendly. Hotel rooms need some love. Try king crab at... More

We stayed there for 3 nights before taking a cruise to Antarctica and had a terrible experience. The food in the dining room was atrocious, and the tip was DEMANDED IN CASH. Except for a mediocre Breakfast Buffet, we had all our lunches and dinners in some of the very friendly and excellent restaurants in the main street above it.... More

Nice hotel, located centrally in Ushuaia. We were here for the first night of a tour before departing for Antarctica the following day. Rooms were clean with great bathrooms and wifi. The breakfast was a bit chaotic as the hotel was full of cruise passengers, however it was simple and had a decent selection. The staff were very efficient, particularly... More

Stayed here in Feb of 2014 and we enjoyed our stay. Rooms are clean and simple with great modern bathrooms. The rooms have no temperature control and are kept quite warm so we had to keep the window open most of the time. The restaurant serves a simple breakfast but the orange juice tasted like powder mix. The restaurant chairs... More

Great hotel, we stayed whilst transiting to Antarctic cruise. Overlooks the harbour and close to shops & town centre. Only downfall was a very average meal at the restaurant, but cafe food - same place - very good. Go figure!

We only spent one night here. It was convenient to the ship, the waterfront and 'downtown' Ushuaia. Great location for walking around and being close to things. However, when we were assigned our room on the second floor, the smells in the hallways and in the room were unbearable!! We didn't even bother putting our bags down. They gave us... More
