We were staying overnight en route to the Antarctic (which was like going to heaven!). This hotel was very central and seriously tried VERY hard to please many people of many different nationalities! Ushuaia is a town just before you drop off the edge of the world and I think it coped BRILLIANTLY! We had dinner there which, whilst a... More

Convenience of being located adjacent the port entrance is only advantage of this hotel. Appears to date from mid 80’s and showing its age. Interior communal areas and room decor tatty. Original front entrance turned into a jewellery shop. On 4th Floor, water system pressure subject to usage elsewhere resulted in potentially freezing or scalding water on the same setting... More

We stayed in this hotel the night before our cruise. It was included in our package. The room was fairly small and dated with no view. Breakfast was included but it was quite crowded and they did run out of items and took time to replenish. The breakfast was typical Argentinian with bread, jam, cold cuts, fruit coffee, tea and... Stayed here prior to my trip to Antarctica. Nice central location. Rooms were nice and comfy and spacious. Breakfast was good. Meals were ok but not a huge choice for the money. Was having some refurbishment but didn't effect stay. All in all perfect prior to my trip :)

Basic but clean and well run, rooms a bit small but adequate, very busy so probably wouldn't stay for more than a couple of nights, excellent central location in this unusual but friendly interesting place at the 'fin del mundo'.

We were booked into this hotel by our cruise company, and, while it was very conveniently located and our triple room was spacious, the wifi connection was very dodgy and it was overpriced. OK for one night before a cruise but I wouldn't recommend it for an extended stay.

On the season, this hotel seems to be fully packed with Antarctica's travellers. We were lucky enough to be no exception, but the hotel itself was far from being exceptional (we didn't choose it). An average room, a less than average breakfast, a decent WiFi, a very central location... and that's it.

The hotel in itself may be nice, it's new and well located. I checked in upon returning from a couple of days on an excursion so I was looking forward to a hot shower. I checked in and was given the key to my room. The room was large enough but was very dark. The window was at asphalt level... More

We stayed here twice, going and coming from Antarctica. The first experience was good. We were given a full suite with enough room to throw a party and the dinner and lunch we got in the restaurant was good with good service. Second time round the ordinary room we were given was rather pokey and noisy. The room safe didn't... More

Not many hotels available. This one is close to the channel. We stayed one night only, were taking a cruise to Antarctica the following day. It has free internet in designated areas, which helps when you are far from home. We had breakfast included which was continental style. Staff seemed friendly. Hotel rooms need some love. Try king crab at... More
