Since we could stay at the corner junior suite in the top floor in front of the bay, the view from our room was incredibly nice! Also we could enjoy the delicious dishes of the restaurant inside for three times and buy some gems at H.Stern. more

stayed one night prior to an Antarctic expedition. Staff was excellent with luggage and fast easy check in. Restaurant was good, lounge was a fun spot to sit and visit in the evening. Best of all was the views of the bay and the perfect central location for walking the city. more

We stayed for only one night in a junior executive suite while waiting to board for a cruise to Antarctica. The room was very large, with every amenity except air conditioning, but who needs it at those latitudes? Reception and hotel personnel were very efficient and all had a ready smile, despite the very busy to and fro of various... more

We had been trekking in Isla Navarino on the other side of the beagle channel and came back a day early and this was about the only option for us. Quite expensive, but a clean modern hotel just off the main street. The room really could have been anywhere in the world, lacking any local character and like most other... more

My mother, sister and I got three nights at the Albatros as part of a package holiday. We needed a triple room and were very happy upon check-in when we got a fourth floor superior suite made up of a huge living room and a bedroom, two plasma screens, double closets, double sink, separate WC/bathroom, electronic in-room safe, hair dryer,... more

We were not expecting a great stay (basing this view on earlier reviews) but were pleasently surprised. The hotel is right on the front of town and backs on to the main street. Check-in was fast, our room was large (larger than usual I assume due to the hotel being full and us being lucky). We overlooked the carpark but... more

I stayed at the Hotel Albatross on November 5, 2008, after completing a cruise on the Mare Australis. The "free" computers were so slow that they were worthless, the room was clean but very small, no view, just a wall across a small parking lot. The restaurant service was slow and there was a very limited selection of food. Location... more

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. It is really well located, has a good restaurant and the facilities are good. But when it comes to confort, friendliness of the staff and room conditions ... it is really bad. The rooms are overheated ( 80 F / 26 C ), and, if wanna have a good night of sleep,... more

Excellent hotel for a few nights stay. Modern facilities, spa, internet, great breakfast and a very good restaurant with a view. Had dinner there both nights of our stay. Perfect location on a side street -across from the port and half a block to a main street. Friendly staff. Very satisfied and would stay there again! more

We stayed in Ushuaia for two nights, so this hotel was perfect. It's across the street from where you book excursions and half a block from the main street. The restaurant is very good and breakfast is good. The staff was very polite and helpful. The rooms were a bit warm, but just open the window and all is fine.... more
