This hotel is located in Ushuaia- ARG, over a small hill with a big seightseein from the Beagle Channel. The workers are so good, so atentious, the rooms very clean, with internal heat and good decoration. Silence and hayas, an exccelent combination

Stayed at Las Hayas for 1 night before an antarctic cruise, hotel was organized by the cruise line. We were not impressed with this hotel and would not choose to stay here on our own. The inside looks tired, with faded, worn carpets one of the first things noticed. Things look old-ish and patterns don't seem to match. (Most of)... More

Hotel Las Hayas was recommended by an Antarctic Cruise operator (which included one night there), but it was far from ideal. It was said to be “5 star” and “the best in Ushuaia” – it is neither of those. For an exorbitant pricetag, the Bavarian-Grandmother stylings of tacky mismatched paisley and floral wallpaper, upholstery, bedspreads, shower curtains, etc., were sub-par,... More

Las Hayas Hotel may not be located in the downtown area but it surely has one of the most fascinating views, both from the rooms and also the restaurant. It makes you want to take a photo first thing in the morning, even before washing your face ! It is a comfortable hotel, up to its five star quality and... More

Is located on a hill with a fantastic view and just 10 minutes from city centre. The hotel is elegant, with classic furniture and all the services of a 5 star hotel. Is more than you can ask at the end of the world: free wifi, swimming pool, some shops, a great view and a very friendly staff. The breakfast... More

The location surveying the whole city is great. it requires a 10 min taxi ride to get to Ushuaia city center. but the views over the bay are fantastic. the hotel is extremely cozy and decadent. it's a classic hotel, but in some areas requires renovation. the breakfast wasn't that great either. all in all I liked it a lot.

Very nice hotel overlooking the city bay, we also recommend the hotel restaurant. the only problem is that every time you need to go out you must call a taxi. the people there was also very nice, we went in January (summer time) but was not that cold. the hotel also had a gym but we did not use it... I am currently staying in this hotel and I have to say, it is not a 5 star level hotel! It is very old fashioned and not upgraded to the normal standards. Not clean and the location is not good. Very far away from the city center. I do not recommend this hotel!

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in early February, prior to taking a cruise ship to Falklands and the Antartic. The room was reasonably furnished though quite warm with some difficulty controlling the temperature. The location, while beautiful, is accessible only by taxi or shuttle. The staff was very helpful and friendly, but honestly seemed like they needed... More

The sign and the brochures says this place is 5 star.... more like 5 circles because they miss the point about what a hotel should be many times over. I definitely agree with the previous 3 or 4 reviews of the place. Hotel was booked by a cruise company and I will be having words to them about the quality... More
