After visiting Tierra del Fuego for the day, our tour group stopped here for a BBQ lunch. Beautiful views, nice restaurant. Great service. Self-serve salad bar, then the feast of meat begins. Grilled right outside, you can sample lamb, sausage or beef. Plentiful servings brought to the table on a "mini-grill." Quickly replenished when empty. My only complaint would be... More

We stayed in Ushuaia for a couple nights - and could open our windows to see the mountains in the background and the new(er) neighborhood being developed down in the foothills. The rooms were neat and the floors heated - plenty of room and nice sized bathrooms. My only complaint would be the noise levels. The walls are fairly then,... More

In the scope if international travel, this place was fine. Fairly clean, good hot water, nice bathtub. The food in the restaurant was pretty good, too. The main drawback is that the walls are paper thin, to the degree that you can hear, among conversations & other things, someone in the next room snoring. Bring ear plugs. The staff is... More

Breakfast , rooms, service are good, but it s located far from the centre of the city. You must alias take a cab its around 60 pesos Argentina. That s a pity because nearer you don t have for example restaurants

Location: This place is for those who want to stay away from the city and spent some quiet time enjoying the views. The location is a perfect setting with mountains on one side and the beagle channel on the other. The place is really quiet during the day and at night. There is a remis service into the city during... More

We stayed at Hotel Los Nires as part of our Quark Antarctica package. I was a bit put off by the location of the hotel since it's a 10 minute shuttle ride from downtown Ushuaia but honestly, I actually preferred the hotel since it was nice and quiet and away from the fuss. We checked in late (about 10pm) but... More

The hotel is out of town, you need taxi or shuttle to get in and out, the shuttle from the hotel is not as frequent as it might be needed but ok. Leaving the transport on the side, the hotel is a nice option for families, with a location up hill, you can walk down stairs and get to the... More

This hotel was terrible, the walls are so thin I could hear the man in the next room snoring all night! The shuttle to town is a joke,,runs about every four hours. No elevator so when you have lots of bags and you are on the second floor good luck..very inconvenient and not near anything,,which means you have to take... More

The hotel is only of interst if you come by car, but it is difficult to find. It is outside of the city in a new region without street names. If you find it (GPS position: Latitude S 54.50'12.084", Longitude W68.21'45.162''), you will like it because of the beautiful position with a phantastic view on the channels and the mountains.... Hotel; is about 5kms out of town ( about 50 pesos each way by taxi) and they do have a shuttle bus. Rooms were not available when we arrived at 0900 but they allowed us into our room at 1030 which was good. Room seemed quiet and was well heated. Restaurant only opens at 2000 so can be a problem...
