Other than an overpriced breakfast and having to take several flightsof stairs to my room, I was very satisfied with the accommodations. The staff was very friendly especially Winston who helped me with my bags when I arrived.

Good hotel, rooms are very dated but you are in the middle of the city in the only street where the restaurants, shops, etc are at. The restaurant is outstanding!! The Centolla soup is the best in the city and the Lomo al champinon is second to none! Restaurant is a must stop anytime I come to town.

Being from the U.S. I probably have higher expectation for a hotel at $150+ a night. This was like staying at a down and out relatives house. The location was good, right at the center of town on the main retail street. Due to a full booking I had to move the second night to Antartida Argentina, a few blocks... More

My family (5 total) and I stayed at the Cap polonio in July 2013. Hotel staff was very friendly, rooms were clean and hotel rate was very economical. Hotel is within walking distance to everything. There is a restaurant on site, food was very good.

this place is not a 3 star hotel ... at best this place is a glorified homeless shelter at best , there were cockroaches and the rooms were very small . the soap that was provided was disgusting and to be honest i would not suggest anyone ever stay at this place ... for the price we paid to stay... The hotel itself was average but it has a great location! It's located on the main street so it's a quick walk to everything. Our room was on the 5th floor facing the back and was pretty quiet. The most noise comes from the other rooms as the walls are quite thin (but this seems to be the case in... More

The most valuable thing about Cap Polonio is that it's right in the middle of everything. You're at walking distance from most of the attractions downtown as well as restaurants. The rooms are OK but tiny bathrooms and everything is quite old. The elevator is very, very small even for the liliputian Argentinean lift standards. Breakfast is not bad at... More

If you need a place to overnight before or after an Antarctic adventure, you can't go wrong with the Cap Polonio. My husband and I stayed at the Monacoo down the street, and it was too close to camping out for our comfort. The Cap was the perfect antidote from its front desk staff to its tiny but welcome elevator.... More

This three-star hotel is located in the middle of the main street in Ushuaia in the heart of the shopping and restaurant area. One block away is a casino with another casino only two blocks away. It is only two blocks from the Beagle Channel. Good service, nice breakfast, clean room. Internet was free but not working at the time.... More
