This guesthouse is walking distance to the downtown area. we had a huge room for 4 to ourselves (we asked for a twin room) with a private bathroom. There was hot water and heating 24/7. Beds were made up and rooms cleaned daily. Our first 2 days there were great but the last 2 mornings, we had some issues. The... More

We recently spent 5 nights here on our trip to Tierra Del Fuego. This is a charming and affordable B&B with the feeling of Argentina. The proprietor Ada, is hands on and very helpful and friendly. Her english is as limited as our spanish, but we communicated just fine. While we were there, they were doing remodeling a guest room. The... More

We have spent here 3 nights during our trip in Argentina. Ada the owner was very nice and kind, always there to help or to answer questions. She also recommends places to go, provided more information than the official tourist office. The hostal has a relatively good location, 10min walk from the main street (direction tomcenter is fine but on... More

The room is ok, an antique looking gas heater we turned off straight away. The breakfast was pretty basic but fairly standard I guess. The main thing was that we were charge 530ARs per night which was pretty steep compared to all the other places we stayed. Not worth that.

Due to a delayed flight, my original booked b&b had give my room away :-( Ended up in Hostal Los Calafates and liked my stay. Stayed here 4 nights. Actually it is more a b&b than a hostel. The b&b is in the center of Ushuaia in a quiet street. Room was ok, clean and with a good shower. Breakfast... More

We stayed here in Jan 2012 for 3 nights. It felt like we were staying in the 'guest room'. It was located quite close to the main street - 3 blocks downhill there, but 3 blocks up-uphill on the way back. We arrived late at night (9pm) after a delayed flight and there was a quite good restaurant just uphill... More

Stayed here for 4 nights in a double room in January 2012. The room was quite expensive for what we got, but as we had not booked anywhere to stay in advance we found ourselves with little options. The room itself was very dated and the hostal had minimal facilities. There was a very small kitchen with very little appliances... More
