Overall nice hotel, large rooms with basic amenities, located a bit far from the town centre - a 30-minute walk or a 10-minute taxi ride for around USD 7. Rooms very very hot, there's no use turning the heat down, it won't work. I had to leave the window open the whole night so that the temperature inside the room... More

The walls are thin so if you have a noisy neighbor you are in trouble. Because everything in the city and in the hotel is so expensive we decided to leave earlier and the hotel charged all the nights even though we left 2 days earlier. They may also charge you for drinks that you did not consume so if... More

Dear D4n1ell, We are sorry to hear that you have had some inconveniences with some noisy guests. We do recommend in those cases, as in any hotel, to call reception so they can talk to the other guests in case they have no hear them. We anyhow would take duly note to avoid this inconvenience in the future. We are... More

First rate experience! Wonderful room with a king bed and view, staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the night desk person, Elizabeth; she was a rock star of customer service. Restaurant was delicious and we got 15% off our bill each time we ate there as guests. It is a hike from town, but the view is beautiful and... More

This hotel is on the hill leading to the glacier, but is positioned lower down the slope than the other hotels, making it easy to walk to town while still providing a great view of Ushuaia and the Beagle Channel. Feels a bit like a Swiss chalet. The furnishings in my room felt a bit spartan, but the bed was... More

I have been there during my honey moon: two days in Usuhaia! The hotel is nice and clean, far away from the city centre but extremely easy to reach with the taxi (that is extremely cheap in this town). Nice continental breakfast too, only negative (?) point (but very minor) was the heating too high…solved just closing the radiator valve!... More

Dear laura_3791, Many thanks for your kind comments and for choosing us for such a special moment. We do have central heating system. However, as you have pointed out, all rooms can control the heating level with the radiator valve from each room in order to make it more comfortable for all our guests and their different habits. Therefore, we... More

A good hotel in Ushuaia with fantastic views over the city and an excellent restaurant. I only stayed overnight as I was waiting to board a ship for a tour of the glaciers along Cape Horn arriving in Punta Arenas. I dined at the restaurant in the evening with an order of the South American King Crab (Centolla) which was... More

We're stayed here for 5 nights prior to an Antarctica cruise. We really enjoyed it. We got a large, comfortable, corner room with lovely views of the channel and mountains. The staff were helpful and helped us book a beagle channel cruise. They also gave advice on hikes and other attractions. Breakfast was included. The eggs go fast but they... More

A good hotel but out of town . Rooms clean but far too hot, we even kept the bedroom window open at night. Hotel staff ok but male on reception who spoke English was excellent. Breakfast very ordinary but dinner of Patagonian tooth fish was excellent and we had it 2 nights running along with the squid. 20 minute walk... More

The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from town or a cheap taxi ride.Set overlooking the bay with views second to none particularly from the restaurant. Arrived late evening for a 2 night stay and were greeted by a friendly English speaking receptionist. Managed to get a table for the restaurant which really is busy and found the service considering... More

The room was nice and clean with an excellent view. Shower was good and the towels plentiful. The view from the restaurant was excellent and the food well prepared. The staff could not have been more helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent even if we had the set menu. The wine list was varied providing some inexpensive local... More
