The staff is very friendly and have a bunch of information to share with you about the things to do in the area. Very nice breakfast. The first day we had the last croissants, but the following days there were plenty of them. 4-bed dorms are excellent and 6-bed dorms are nice as well. The two kitchens have a good... More

If you prefer the best price quality relation ever over being distant from downtown La Posta is your hostel. Incredible friendly owners and staff, very very very clean, we'll organized, nice common areas, OK breakfast, comfortable beds, cooking facilities. In La Posta you'll meet travellers going to almost everywhere around Tierra del Fuego, Patagonia or Antartica. Excellent place to start... More

This hostel is just fantastic, we arrived after the long journey from El Calafate in the taxi and even from outside it looked clean, inside the owners (A lovely family) could not be more helpful. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable and the two kitchens well equipped. Cooking dinner on two nights here was a dream, coming back... More

I really like this hostel , it feels really familiar , the owner are great people , thanks to Lucas !! Great guy and always trying to help you. The hostel is very clean, and cossy , quite far , but the walk to the center is beautiful , and also if you want to pay a taxi is not... More

Location is such a pity, as if you are staying more than two days the trip back and forth from town can be arduous after awhile. Huge place, no couches to relax just tables and chairs. Very basic breakfast, not even milk only the powered stuff which is disappointing - good to have media lunas though, some fruit would be... More

Very friendly and polite at the reception. For the breakfast they had the best croissants I ever had so far!!! Negative: very far from the town. Taxi about 30 pesos. They were quite busy when I arrived and haven't showed or explained me something.

This hostel is pretty excellent. I stayed in a 4 bedroom dorm, and there were 4 individual beds! No bunks!! What a delight. My dorm had a good sized ensuite, but there were also good shared bathrooms available. The hostel looks like it is two houses, converted into one. This is great, as there are two kitchens, and two dining... More

Great staff, will help you with anything you require, even a taxi for 5 in the morning to catch your bus! Small mini market a couple of doors up. Walk into the middle of town will take about 15 minutes at a good pace, but as we are keen walkers that was no problem for us. Rooms serviced every day... More

The La Posta has a Maids who make your bed every day, clean and mop every part of the place. Very impressed. Flo will greet you with a super big smile. She is a very nice lady, and is very helpful. I am writing this review with four days left, and felt compelled to write this now. I am in... More

An excellent hostel with a "homely" feeling. The staff (family) were kind, polite and very helpful. The hostel itself was warm and cosy, which was great after returning from a long trek in the cold weather. The facilities were clean, there were two kitchens and plenty of toilets/showers. On a special note. When our 4 a.m taxi failed show up,... More
