This is a nice, modern hotel in downtown Rio Gallegos. They have a small parking lot that accepted our Land Cruisers and the rooms were small, but comfortable and well-appointed. The highlight was the restaurant and personal attention from the hotel management. The manager spent 20 minutes sharing details on Ushuaia and other locations we would see on our trip... More

We didn't plan to stop in Rio Gallegos but we were waiting for our car permit for Chile to be e-mailed to us from Buenos Aires. The Hotel Patagonia was right in the center of town and it looked like the best place to stay for the night. The room was very nice and they had free parking right behind... More

The hotel rooms are standard quality of 3-star hotels. Relatively poorly equipped, but clean. They have rather small both rooms. Lift seem often out of work which can be a problem if you stay in one of the higher floors. For the car, the hotel has parking facilities in the backyard which is important in a city with very limited... More

The hotel is nicely located half a block from the main avenue. It is the best option in Rio Gallegos. The staff is good, the rooms are large enough and very clean. The TV system could be improved. Breakfast is good enough. The restaurant has boxes with its own TV witch is pretty cute as you can watch the news... More

Despite Rio Gallegos being a dull city, this hotel is well worth coming for. Second time here, first was a year ago and even with inflation I think I got a better desl in pesos this time. The rooms are not fantastic. Usual fat screen TV, some problem with WC cistern, and a crowded mini-bar with a little to high... More

i loved to eat the patagonian lamb in the restaurant. and see tv from the flatscreens which they have on the tables on the wall.. Good idea for the lonely hotel guests, the manager explained us it is thought for the lonely business people from the oil companies… The wind is gusty but the athmospere is relaxing in the inside... I stay in this hotel in my way to Ushuaia. It was very easy to find. The staff was very helpful. The rooms were clean. The decoration and the inside architecture from the lobby and restaurant are excellent. The hotel has a nice and secure parking lot, item that was very important to me. I recommend it,

The hotel is mainly targeted for business travellers; it is nevertheless a good choice for leisure travellers en route for some (better) place in Patagonia. The only reason for staying in Rio Gallegos actually can be being en route for some more touristic destination.

The hotel was clean and bright and the room and bathroom were fine. The staff were slow booking us in but very helpful in recommending places to eat and it was really easy to walk to the main sights from here

Decor is great. Rooms very clean and a great star to av adventure. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is right downtown near some great restaurants ( see The British Club). A great place at a good price
