Would not trust this hotel... We started of by booking two rooms and later understanding they actually only had the one room... We thought everyone makes a mistake so we took the one room and our friends found somewhere else to stay. When we arrived the next day around 8pm to check in our room was filthy. They said they... Clean. Very close to the bus station and to the main strip of the town - great location. The rooms have floor heating that is not controlled by you, so we found ourselves VERY hot during the night, so we had to open the windows - but the structure of the hotel lends itself to a great deal of noise.... It was close to the bus station, which was great as we arrived early hours of the morning so we didn't have to hump our bags far. I had e-mailed our very early morning arrival and someone was there to book us in. We also had a very early departure, so being close to the bus station was good. It... More

We had the room at the last floor, and it was a little bit painful to take the stairs (I don't remember how many floor there was, but too much from my point of view) with the luggages and everything. The Wi-Fi was not working in the room. On the other side, the room was big (we had one with... More

Aside from its' central location and nice enough staff, nothing was really good about this place. 3-4 floors with no elevator - instead you had to carry your luggage up vary narrow wooden staircases; the beds in the room were even narrower and very shaky - I was worried I would be constantly falling throughout the night. Breakfast was a... More

Well located right next to the central street and on the way to the bus station - though at a comfortable distance from the noisy spots. The room we got as a couple had a double bed and 2 single ones, so it could suit a family. The staff was nice to accomodate our requests, like when I asked them... More

The bedspreads which are used as blankets too were disgustingly dirty. I do not know how many men have spermed on them... I asked them to change the blankets but they did not. Bathrooms were ok though...

This is a good value hotel close to the center and the bus terminal. The bedd were hard and the room a bit tired, but it was actually cheaper than the hostels and a much better location. Wi Fi was good in the lounge weak in the rooms. Our thanks to the staff and owners who let us wait in... More

I agree with the other reviewers saying that the rooms are fairly basic for what you pay (we paid $64 for one night at a weekend in January), but i think this says more about how expensive El Calafate is compared to the rest of the country. i would recommend the hotel as a cheaper option with the nicer hotels... Good value for the price. It's a very simple and comfortable place to stay at, very close to the main street. The breakfast could be better: we didn't get real milk, but powder milk. Very nice rooms, with a tiny bath, but OK for our needs. we surely recommend the place.
