We had a good time in this hostel: very clean, very close to the bus station (1 minute walk !!), colorful and very welcoming owners (we shared a piece of cake!): I recomend it, it is definitly a good ratio price/quality and a good place to stay. The 3 beds dorms are small but clean.

The first night we took a twin without bathroom in the hostel part (200 pesos). It was clean and the beds were good, but the room was so small our bags wouldn't fit. The second night we switched to a double with bathroom across the street in the albergue part (300 pesos). Beautifully located next to a blossoming garden. Much... More

Highly recommend this excellent hostel, impeccably clean, good value, very friendly owner (Estelle). We stayed in one of the double rooms with private bathroom across the road of the dorms. Good advise and service with bookings. Very helpful !

We were on our honey moon last week, and spent a few days in El Calafate at Albergue Lago Argentino. Our room, n°8, was beautifully decorated and surrounded by the many flowers of the garden. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast is included (it's yummy!): bread, coffee, tea, jam, fresh pastries... We had a very pleasant time there.

The advantage of this hostel is its proximity to the bus station. The center is not too far either. The building is quite basic and so is the hostel in it. Behind the decent shared areas is a long and narrow hallway leading into the also very narrow rooms and finally into the bathrooms in the back. The rooms have... More

I stayed here for two nights in one of the private rooms. These rooms are little chalets across the road from the main hostel. The rooms were clean and provided soap and towel, breakfast was also included. The staff/owners were friendly and helpful - arranging my bus trip to the glacier for me. It's really near the bus station and... More

My boyfriend and I arrived in El Calafate by plane--but if you arrive by bus, it's extremely convenient because the hostel is a hop, skip & a jump from the bus station. The staff were very friendly and helped coordinate our excursion to the Perito Moreno Glacier. We stayed in a private room, which felt like a little cabin and... More

It was a fine place to stay for a few nights. It's 3 minutes walk from the Bus Terminal and easy walking distance to all the restaurants. Nothing fancy, but clean and well run.

We stayed just one night at the hostel in a double room with a shared bathroom. Our room was across the road from the main hostel in a cozy annex. The room was large and the bed had lots of blankets which was good as it was very cold when we arrived at El Calafate! The annex had a nice... More

We planned to stay in El Calafate for three days and we were looking for cozy accommodation. We found many nice and cozy hostels but all of them were quite expensive. Finally we reached Lago Argentino which prove to be just a stone throw from the bus station and it was bull’s eye! To be honest, the rooms are quite... More
