Spent 2 nights at this hosteria recently. The place is bright and clean and the location is lovely and very quiet, although a fair distance from town. Travelled into town several times by taxi, which cost approx. USD 6.00 each way. Breakfast was satisfactory and the one dinner we had at the hosteria was delicious, if not cheap. Staff were... More

We booked the suite at this hotel with booking.com a few weeks before our trip (weekend of May 23-25). We get there, and they tell us they do not have the room we reserved available. Instead, they show us a tiny basic room. NOT what we had in mind or had reserved. The reception staff was helpful in recommending other... More

We found the hotel to be lovely, nice rooms, nice view. Unfortunately, it is more than 1.5 miles from downtown, and the hotel only offers a shuttle into town at 7 PM (returning at 10 PM). Yes, it's walkable, but those extremely strong Patagonian winds mean that at least one way you are battling a powerful headwind. Breakfast was very... More

Far from the city, yes, but we were driving, returning from Perito Moreno, for the location was very good. We had the room on the far right, great views from the lake and garden. Very nice room, spacious, stunning view, comfortable, new, 5-stars linen and toilet. I found the price a bit high. I would say it's a hosteria high-end.... More

We chose this hotel mainly because of the good Tripadvisor reviews. First the good things: The rooms are spacious, very clean, all seem to have views of the lake. Now for not so good: The hotel is much too far away from town and is not walking distance and the hotel does not provide a shuttle. The taxi costs about... More

This cute little place was such a Jen. After reading the reviews I did not think it was going to be that charming. It feels like a cozy little lodge with very clean bathrooms. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was excellent for breakfast or dinner. One of the best parts is all the tour buses pick you... More

This small hotel is the best we have stayed in so far on our three month trip. The rooms are large and very clean & modern and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. The staff bent over backwards to help with a problem we had booking a car. The views from all the rooms are over the lake.... More

We received a very warm welcome here and the staff were all extremely helpful, going out of their way to accommodate us on tours and airline bookings. The room was very confortable and spacious with a fabulous view across the lake. Town is three kms away but taxis are easily called and are not expensive. We will come back!

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Our room was spacious & very clean. Good value for money. Breakfast was excellent & we had a lot of choice. The lake view from the hotel was beautiful, which was a good substitute for the fact that the hotel wasn't situated in the town center. Hotel staff was very friendly & spoke... More

“Poor service for a hotel with illusions of grandeur”...totally agree with this previous review. A very cold place at night, with not heat at all...the heating system did not work and we requested two extra blankets because we were unable to sleep, bugs in the bath tub and mushrooms growing from the wall and ceiling of a room. Front desk... More
