The reception area and breakfast place has huge floor to ceiling windows that offers extremely impressive view. The three-Bedroom Bungalow(for six of us) has the same window with beautiful lavender outside. It was such a great experience sitting on the sofa, drinking with friends and enjoying the view of moonlight reflection on the lake/sea? Not walking distance to the downtown... More

The reception area is impressive, with large floor to ceiling windows giving one of the best views of el Calafate.....and does give a 'boutique' air - the rooms don't really live up to the same standard, but they are comfortable, spacious and clean (the bedding might be upgraded from blankets to light quilts). There is a stand alone cabin in... More

The view of the hotel is nice but the location of the hotel is rather far to the city (not in walking distance). Room was ok, even if it became really cold in the night (and I am from Austria!). What we really did not like is the fact that they do not accept credit cards. It is not that... More

The location of the hotel is lovely albeit further out of town ( you need to get a taxi to take you into town). The reception area is lovely and really gives you a cosy feeling. Bed loungers can be used to lie and admire the view. Wifi is for free. The rooms were fine. Maybe not up to the... More

We got a bus from El Clafate airport which drops you off at whatever hotel you’re staying at. You don’t need to book this in advance as there are a few companies doing this and I think they charge around the same price. Ours cost 60 pesos each. When I booked this hotel I had thought it was more in... More

There's a plaque in the doorway as you enter this hotel that says 'Best Boutique Hotels in the World' - this is way off the mark. Let's start with the negative points; this hotel is trying to be a boutique hotel, but it is trying to do this on the cheap. The thing is, people notice these things. It's not... More

This is a beautiful little hotel with the most helpful staff possible. They recommended the best tours for the glaciers. Thomas great, and looked after us. We loved every moment of our stay and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. This was the highlight of our trip through South America. It's in the quiet part of town... More

Blanca Patagonia, composed of some cosy rooms and "cabanas", is the hotel with the best view on the Lago argentino, in El Calafate. We had a great time there! We stayed one week and every day a lady came to clean room and bathroom, and to remake bed. Breakfast, included in the price, is very copious and with everything you... More

Great view and great location; just one mile and a half from downtown Calafate which you can eiteher reach on foot or by taxi for just $35, the equivalent of €5. It is situated uphill goving you a fantastic view of the laguna and the incredible reflections of the mountains and the clouds. Rooms are spacious yet cozy and intimate,... More

This hotel is modern and really beautifully crafted. The view from the large lounge area is just as the picture shows and the room views are the same. The only real criticism is having to pay cash. It is really inconvenient to carry a wad of cash around. I don't have to do that anywhere else in the world! To... More
