Jorge and Elizabeth were the highlight of this little inn. The inn is about a 10 minute walk outside of main street Calafate. There are hotels that are a lot closer but I doubt you would get the same kind of attention as we did here. The inn is small, only 6 or 7 rooms and the rooms are also... more

Jorge and Elizabeth went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. They helped us with all the reservations and phone inquiries we needed to make, they got us a deal on a rental car, they took our clothes to the laundry and Elizabeth even lent us her mountain boots to go on the glacier! Rooms are... more

We spent 2 nights in the Miyazato Inn in October09 and would definitely recommend the hotel to everyone. Not only because the hotel is very nicely decorated and homely but also because of the owners – Jorge and Isabel. They were really nice and helpful during the stay , as well as before we even arrived in Argentina. They booked... more

Another couple we met in Ushuaia recommended this hotel to us since they had just come from where we were headed. We arrived without a reservation, but Sr. Miyasato was ready to accommodate us. He was very informative about the glacier excursions and gave us directions to where to find out more and the market where we could buy food... more

We did a two week trip to Argentina and we stayed in a couple very expensive hotels, but none of them had the quality of service as in Miyazato Inn. Jorge and Elizabeth did everything to make sure our stay was unforgettable. They booked the mini-trekking in advance. They helped us rent a car to go to Torres del Paine... more

Miyazato Inn is set a little away from the high street (as a lot of places are) but only a 10 min walk. Drawing up outside it feels like you've arrived at someones house and that is just how you're made to feel. The two owners are exceptionally helpful, booking trips for us before we arrived so we could fly... more

Jorge and Elizabeth Miyasato really went out of their way to help us with everything we needed. Jorge noticed that my wife's travel bag was falling apart and offered to help fix it for free. They also helped us reserve the big ice trek, get a packed a lunch for the trek, rental equipment and airport transportation. One of the... more

My Husband and I met our backpacking daughter and her friend at the Miyazato following a missed connection to find they had already been advised by Elizabeth and Jorge to hire a car for our trip, as it would prove cheaper than paying the airport and national park transfers that the 4 of us would have to pay.Jorge even took... more

I stayed in Miyazato Inn at the end of April I have to say I totaly agree with the reviews. Jorge and Elizabeth are delightful, staying with them was a bit like staying with some friends, really nice. Really appreciated all the help and tips. The location is quite good, you're less than 10min walk from the centre, there's a... more
