Loved the hotel. Great customer service especially Veronica on reception who was always charming and helpful. They made no charge for the booked night we missed due to a flight cancellation. They offered us a free breakfast when we arrived after a night flight. Beds very comfortable, views fantastic and we loved the restaurant they recomended almost next door.

Cozy woody hotel with a very familiar touch outside town. Very nice staff: Vero is super, always smiling and eager to provide the best of services. Rooms very basic but clean, hot water, heaters, cable tv, phone…what else do you need to spend 3-4 days in this part of the Argentinian patagonia? The neighborhood is very quite.Notice that the hotel... More

The staff speaks perfect English, is very helpful and always available. Rooms are spacious and very nicely furnished. The bathrooms are large, have very good pressure on the shower and always hot water. Heaters in all rooms plus a fridge. The common area with sofas is very cozy and so is the backyard and frontyard. Great wifi connection. Location is... More

I stayed at Hainen for three nights. The location is somewhat out of town, but everything is in walking distance. There are at least two good restaurants close by if one or the other night you are not keen on walking to town. The room was basic but good. I slept like a rock all three nights. Quiet neighbourhood, and... More

Comfortable and clean house, everything kept well. Very friendly and helpful host! The place is quiet outside the town, but just 15 min to walk to the centre of Calafate. Good restaurants in the neighborhood. Very recommendable place to stay.

I am now very confused by the reviews that give this place 4 and 5 stars. I feel misled now that I have stayed there. Maybe I just got the one bad room, but I doubt it. I had a really poor experience and couldn't wait to leave. Pros: -Juan is incredible. He was kind, carried our bags, gave us... More

We stayed here for couple of nights and enjoyed our stay. The owner was very friendly - although, there was some minor confusion regarding the booked tickets, it was promptly resolved. When we arrived in the morning after an early morning flight from Buenos Aires, Juan offered us to have some breakfast which was a nice gesture. The location of... More

Super warm welcome from the family who run the hosteria - lots of good advice and more than happy to help. Rooms were cosy and warm too (Argentina doesn't skimp on the heating as a rule!) - pine is the theme here - comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was better than average (Argentina has little interest in breakfast, so lacklustre toast... More

The Hosteria is only 10 min. walk from the city center. The rooms are simple but they have all what you need. The breakfast was good. The reception guy was really friendly and helped us planning our trips. He gave us good advices for Restaurants and answered all our questions.
