This place is so lovely, it is right in the centre which is perfect for the bus station and restaurants. The hosteria itself is so cosy and warm. I think it's a real gem. Our room was a great size for both me and my boyfriend and the shower was fantastic. Really powerful and hot. I can't remember the name... More

We only stayed one night here but what a lovely little place! We were glad we found it after staying at the soulless Marco Polo suites. The room was lovely, warm and cosy and the staff were friendly and helpful. Location fantastic, just off the Main Street. Breakfast was standard Argentinian and they ask for you to pay in cash... This was a disappointing experience. We discovered that the Hosteria did not take credit cards and we were told to pay cash in advance, so had to use US dollars as we didn't have enough pesos. Our room was not ready on check-in & we had to wait an hour for what turned out to be a dingy room with dark... We spent 2 nights at the Hosteria Kau Kaleshen over Christmas and really enjoyed our stay. The Hosteria is located 1 block away from the main street which to me is perfect as we are just by where the buzz is without being disturbed by it. The staff was as helpful as it was friendly, our room (double, actually double... More

We stayed here for a total of four nights over two trip periods. We liked it so much that we would have stayed longer but there was no availability. Here is a pro & con summary: Pros *VERY helpful staff, especially on reception (Maria) who couldn't do enough for us. *Gorgeously quaint & pretty English country type of hotel with... More

Wife and I stayed at Kau Kaleshen for 5 nights in December 2013. The hotel is comprised of separate pretty wooden structures with a nice garden courtyard that all the rooms look out on. Pros: - Pretty property, with tall trees that catch the wind - Friendly and helpful reception staff, knowledgeable about local attractions, tours and restaurants - Powerful... More

We really liked our stay here. The staff was very nice and very helpful. The only (minor) problem was the low pressure of the water, but considering where we were, it's like I said: very minor. Other than that, I would definitely stay again.

Very nice bed-and-breakfastey hotel (so don't expect TV and flashy extras). The wifi is free and the signal is excellent. Rooms can be a bit chilly, especially bathrooms, but they are always clean and very well-maintained. The owners are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They made me feel right at home, and they always knew what I was doing the... More

Very sweet hotel, very well located in El Calafate. The room was very convenient and clean, and breakfast was very good. But, above all was the great hospitality! Thank you, Maria Elena for your good advises, for your assistance in making reservations, and for the warm hospitality! Maria and the team answered for every question we had, and help us... More

Grat location just one street behind the main street. Rooms were lovely, good size and really comfy beds. Lots of sockets. Great bathroom. The restaurant is also really nice, breakfast is included and we did dinner there one night that was beautiful. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend here!
