The highlight of my trip to Argentina - EOLO was a dream. Every single room has amazing views, and the staff is unbelievably attentive. The only small drawback is the food - it is done in a French style and perhaps a bit over sauced, when I'd much prefered Argentian style. That said, I highly recommend Eolo.

I am an infrequent contributor to these pages. Over our years of travel we have come to affect the been-there-done-that, can-you-top-this personas of people who have seen a lot but, in point of fact, not as much as their affect implies. Eolo, where we spent four nights in late March of 2011, had us agape. The fourteen room hotel--more like... More

My wife and I stayed at Eolo in Spring 2010 as part of a three week trip. Along with Cavas Wine Lodge (Mendoza), this was our favourite place. The setting is spectacular, the hotel beautiful - in a very relaxed way - and the service first rate. We feel privileged to have stayed.

There are some places in the world that make you feel very lucky to be there - this is one of those places. Very special - go if you can.

When planing a trip to El Calafate in Patagonia it is nice to experience the local cuisine and enjoy the dramatic landscape. Eolo Lodge was an excellent choice because it offers all of the comforts of Relais & Chateaux and is situated in a perfect location overlooking Lake Argentine and Pine del Torres in Chile. It is isolated and at... More

Excellent staff, lovely rooms and fantastic everchanging views towards mountains and lakes.Food good but more effort put into the presentation than the taste: ie a tasteless fish course covered in that trendy 'catsick froth'.Little variety in the menu and slow service from the kitchen. We enjoyed walking up the hill behind the Lodge and using the mountain bikes, but obviously... More

We had a short stay at Eolo before moving on to El Chalten. From the moment we landed in El Calafate to the moment we left the service was perfect, without a doubt the best I've experienced in a hotel anywhere. The location and views throughout the lodge were simply stunning as other have commented. The room was very comfortable,... More

We had a corner room and when we arrived, could lie in bed and see Torres des Paines, cows and the Andes from our bedroom. Food Fabulous (except coffee at breakfast). Staff were absolutely amazing- notably Valentin. Highly recommend Big Ice and Estancia Kristina trekking tours if you are in reasonable shape. Having been lucky enough to travel extensively, this... - amazing location, and great staff - food is good, but not amazing - rooms nice - good place from which to base for 2-3 days for trips to Glacier

This hotel really exceeded all of our expectations, and then some. I rarely write a review on trip advisor, but this place deserves the accolades. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, the food was really good, the scenery is breathtaking, and the hotel itself is of 5 star quality. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel at...
