Beautiful setting / very Zen atmosphere / great staff / great food. We stayed here 2 nights (previous nights in Chalten, and we were headed to Torres del Paine). We were in room 9 or 10 -- great view -- yes you could see the road leading up to the lodge (photo in earlier TA review, but you can also... More

In my view it's paradise combining truly fantastic views with marvellous service. Kind and helpful staff, rooms with views to die for, and a chef whose food is absolutely fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended..... Only wish we could have spent more time there.

The Eolo lodge was simply over-the-top -- it is out of a fantasy dream! Our 4 nights there were a highlight of a recent small group guided 8-day trekking tour. The entire charming staff gathered in the entry-way to greet our group with refreshments in the expansive welcoming lobby. The lobby is impeccably decorated with polished warm wood floors and... We spent 3 nights at Eolo recently and give it top marks in all categories! The rooms are spacious with huge picture windows looking out over the Patagonia countryside. The food is incredible - innovative, delicious, beautiful - with different options for each meal. The boxed lunches were plentiful and again the options were great. The staff was friendly, helpful,... More

If you are looking for a really scenic spot with spotless rooms and excellent food, you have found your place. Some would consider it expensive for what it is as the rooms are not true luxury, but the totality of the experience and the location combine to make it money well spent. The truth is you spend very little time... More

Our last night in Patagonia and an interesting hotel outside El Calafate on the way to Perrito Moreno. Very remote (up a dirt track off the main road) so no option to walk into town for dinner etc. We didn't make as much use of facilities as we could have had beyond some great wine, great cooking and great lazing... After Iguazu and Buenos Aries we were prepared for a let down, how wrong we were. We arrived at The Eolo in El Calafate ,it is heaven on earth. It is a laid back Relais Chateaux hotel not super luxury though in fact it was my favourite hotel in our South American trip. The hotel is set among breath taking... More

Excellent meals and comfortable rooms and activities. We stayed in #5, which is on the way to the dining room and is therefore a little noisier than other rooms due to footsteps coming and going. We were on a Backroads trip and enjoyed the staff and accommodations.

Upon arriving at the El Calafate airport, Eolo staff was waiting for us for the short drive (30 min) to the hotel. The Eolo staff received us at the door and we made our way to the living room. With comfortable seating and spectacular views, we were giving tea and pastries as we reviewed our excursions. After a tour of... More

EOLO is Patagonian Styled Hotel that is in the middle of acres and acre of land in a beautiful valley where the beauty and vastness is indescribable. The hotel rooms are simple but the food, service, amenities and beauty more than make up for it. We rode horses, visited the glaciers and the icebergs and honestly did not want to... More
