So, if you're going to calafate and want that patagonia feel of being out of the middle of nowhere (which is kind of the point) AND you don't mind paying the very high price, then this is definitely the way to go Fantastic setting where you can enjoy the outdoors. Go hiking all around the hills. Go biking. Go horseback... More

As many as the previous reviewers have said, Eolo is truly amazing. You just have to go there to experience the ambience, the views, the staff friendliness and efficiency. You’re wowed from the very beginning as you enter the “ripio” road that leads to the hotel. We got there a little bit before sunset when everything turned into shades of... More

Let me start with the positive - booking a corner suite offers wonderful views - in line with their website (and the high prices to match). Service wise - since it is the people who impact how you really remember the establishment - the housekeeping was exceptional. It was lovely to come back to the room with candles lit in... More

Warm welcome, luxurious accommodation, fine cuisine morning and evening - and sublime afternoon tea, vast vistas and distant snow-capped mountains, superb service, personal attention to detail, best night skies ever - and best-ever views from the shower, condors overhead, hares on the ground, flamingos through the telescope, memorable sunsets and sunrises. Superlative and restorative in every way; cannot recommend it... More

Like no other place on earth I've experienced, a concept way beyond the mere 'hotel'. You will be looked after, properly. Be welocmed and treated the same as meeting old friends. Be instantly relaxed and in awe of the people, place and it's surroundings. Add to this home sourced, prepared and cooked food and more delivered with impeccable yet understated... More

From the moment we were greeted at El Calafate Airport, everything was done well. The arrival experience stepping into a room that had an atmosphere of ethereal calm set the tone for three days of alternating activity (climbing the slope above the hotel, horseback riding, trekking on the Perito Merino Glacier) and moments of serenely quiet contemplation. Just looking out... More

This is the most beautiful, breathtaking place in the world. It was very hard to sit still initially as the windows afforded so much to see. We stayed here on the last night of the season and truly felt we were being welcomed into someone's home. The whole team were fabulous, really attentive but with subtlety so you were allowed... We had four wonderful nights here in April and words almost fail me. Firstly the location set in a lonely position with breathtaking views, you really feel that you are in the middle of nowhere. Views across the valley and the to the mountains beyond are truly wonderful, and if you climb up the hill behind the hotel, you get... More

We had a 3 nights stay with 2 rooms (family with two adult childs), one corner room (called Condor) ... this room is really breathtaking - view towards Chile - over the wonderful Patagonian "Steppe" and mountains....the sky & cloud-views are also ...wonderful... Eolo is not old - so everything is in very good condition. The service is - as... More

We stayed for four wonderful nights at this charming lodge. The location is stunningly beautiful - Set above a wide ranging prairie with the Andes in the distance. We stayed in a suite, roomy and well- appointed. The dining selections, quality of food, wine list and most of all service was far beyond our expectations - excellent. Valentin and the... More
