We had four wonderful nights here in April and words almost fail me. Firstly the location set in a lonely position with breathtaking views, you really feel that you are in the middle of nowhere. Views across the valley and the to the mountains beyond are truly wonderful, and if you climb up the hill behind the hotel, you get... More

We had a 3 nights stay with 2 rooms (family with two adult childs), one corner room (called Condor) ... this room is really breathtaking - view towards Chile - over the wonderful Patagonian "Steppe" and mountains....the sky & cloud-views are also ...wonderful... Eolo is not old - so everything is in very good condition. The service is - as... More

We stayed for four wonderful nights at this charming lodge. The location is stunningly beautiful - Set above a wide ranging prairie with the Andes in the distance. We stayed in a suite, roomy and well- appointed. The dining selections, quality of food, wine list and most of all service was far beyond our expectations - excellent. Valentin and the... More

Eolo is a very comfortable country lodge set on 3000 hectares in the heart of Patagonia. It is 2750 kms south-west of Buenos Aries and 30 minutes from the town of El Calafate in the La Anita Valley. It is on the way to the magnificent Perito Moreno Glacier. Eolo sits alone on the hillside and commands a view of... More

The Eolo Lodge is set high in a large Estancia about 20-25 minutes outside of El Calafate… about 40 minutes from the airport. We had a large corner room (#3) facing east and south with very impressive views…especially the sunrise over Lago Argentino. If we were to return, we would request the other corner room facing south and west since... More

The hotel is situated in an isolated position and is surrounded by mountains and lakes. The view is 360 degrees with walks, hikes or cycling available in the surrounding countryside. We were made to feel very welcome and were upgraded to a large corner suite with two huge windows and very comfortable kingside bed. Bathrooms are a good size with... More

The views are a once-in-a-lifetime experience and help offset the fact that this property is not up to the standards of most R&C properties. That being said, it is probably the nicest hotel in the area. Room: The spectacular view helped compensate for the somewhat barebones room. The bedding was good although the mattresses were VERY firm and the two... More

Beautiful setting overlooking a vast panorama of the outskirts of El Calafate. Excellent service with an elegant B&B touch. Very close to Perito Moreno and the town of El Calafate. We stayed here 6 years ago but it was worth mentioning.

Loved the remote location of this hotel. It was beautiful. Room was simple but stunning. Food good, particularly afternoon tea! Staff charming and helpful. Tours were on the expensive side and there seemed to be an element of changing back and forth between currencies on the bill which increased the price further. For the price, I also don't think it... I can only echo the reviews posted here. Tipped off by a friend of this little corner of heaven on earth, we spent 4 days at Eolo. We slipped away for a 2 days trip to Estancia Cristina, inside the national park of Glaciers, because as we discovered there is only 1 boat daily in each direction in and out... More
