At our arrival we noticed the lobby was unkept and dirty. We decided then and there to request a change. After 2 hours we were able to move to a closer location . We saw people walking down the hill slip and fall as it is very steep and there was snow and ice. To far to walk when is... More

Not sure what everyone else's expectations were for this hotel, but we liked it. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, the shower worked great. We didn't have the breakfast which was included each day. It is a short walk down the hill to get to the main part of town, but it really... More

Kitsch decor might have been acceptable if the hotel was not so badly run, with poor service, terrible maintenance and questionable cleanliness. The hotel has a filthy overheated pool that I would not recommend using. There is very poor internet in the lobby but none in the bedrooms as promised by the web site. The location is 15 minutes outside... More

My first impression was how nice and helpful the people here were. They met us at the door and gave me a lot of good information on the tours that were available. Any questions I had were promptly answered. The room was also clean and nice. The hotel is a little bit outside of town, but they called cabs for us... More

No porter service on arrival. the towers used were not specified which is for face and for sanutary basin. we found spot of yellow dirt which can not tell if this is.... All the dishes used in restaurant for breakfast can hardly find one without damaging. tour guide rated this hotel as four stars but it actually from my point... More

The hotel is beautiful and has nice rooms, but that's pretty much it. It's not so close to the center of the city.. you have to walk along the road for about 20, 30 min. The restaurant if awful.. horrible food and service. And there's a great chance that if you stay the hole day walking on the top of... More

Don't look at the name and at the apparently nice and welcoming hall: the hotel services are not worth its fame and reviews. I spent 3 nights at this address:far from the centre, away from any serice as rentals, taxis, supermarkets, restaurants, local travel agents. The staff is definitely not welcoming and doenst even try to make you feel at... More

Nice hotel on a hill above the town- quite a distance from the center (which didn't bother us, as we were with a group). Only drawback was the lack of airconditioning and when you opened the windows there was noise from the outside (Rooms facing front)

It is located a bit out of town (which actually means 15 minuts walk to the main center); if you can bear that, the hotel is really nice, surely one of the best in El Calafate. Unbeatable view over the Andes and the Lago Argentino.
