We adored this place! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and our room was adorable. The room had wooden beams that reminded me of a ski lodge. Room was small but clean and comfy and we didn't mind the size of room since we were out exploring and being tourists all day. Would stay here again, great value for... More

Everything in Los Alamos on El Calafate makes it a magical place, the story of how it was built , the importance of preserving the dozens of Alamos trees that were already part of the property. The promise of never cutting an Alamo tree that was on there . The work and love that the couple that bought the property... More

Good location and not far from the Main Street. Our only criticism was that either the walls are paper thin or we had the noiseless neighbours. The breakfast and bar was over the road but no problem. The staff were very friendly. My wife used the pool but on the one occasion the pool had lots of children there. All... More

Could not believe my eyes when stepping into the room. 2 to 3 stars I give it at the most. My room was on the ground floor. Reasonably spacious, felt creepy with ancient decor, old curtain & bed linens. Carpets' all stained and filthy. Would not like to walk on it bare foot. Walls & ceiling have old paints. There... This hotel is absolutely beautiful with an indoor pool, spa, jacuzzi, amazing restaurant and staff. We were scheduled to stay at Blanca Patagonia which cost around the same price but this hotel offers so much more and is a short couple of blocks from the center of town.

We stayed 3 nights at Los Alamos. The best parts were the restaurant (delicious food!), the pool and the grounds. The room could have been nicer for the price we paid. We could hear the people talking outside our window, next door and air conditioning is needed.

We weren't expecting anything too luxurious but even so our room fell below expectations. While the rooms were clean and bed was comfortable we could clearly hear our neighbours conversation and even worse their shower and toilet habits. The rooms would most definitely benefit from thinker walls, air conditioning and a coffee machine. If we had been staying longer than... More

We (couple) stayed over Christmas in this hotel. The entrance hall has been nicely decorated and offered a flavor of Christmas. The staff is friendly professional, in a special case we got an excellent help by the house technician. Breakfast was ok for Argentinian standard (lot of sweet bread, but less white or dark bread or small baguette etc). For... More

We spent only one night at Hotel Posada Los Alamos, as we were actually in transit to El Chaten and not visiting El Calafate on this trip. The hotel was so excellent it made me sorry we weren't spending more time in Calafate. It is very convenient to downtown Calafate, and the many excellent restaurants and shops there. Unfortunately, the... More

Beautiful buildings and grounds; great rooms; nice breakfast; friendly staff. Nice reading areas in the hallways, stocked with books. The location is also very close to the center of the main street in El Calafate. We cannot assess value for price since it was included in a package.
