We spend 4 nights and enjoyed our visit to Calafate, our room was clean, warm, and generally well maintained. Friendly staff. We had a special dinner with the classic Lamb of Patagonia and was really good.

The hotel location is excellent, 2 blocks from the main street. Hotel installations are nice. Rooms need renovation, although comfortable, they're a little bit old. Staff polite, but not warm and friendly. Standard breakfast, not exceptional. Overall, it's a good hotel with nothing extra special about it.

Our flight was cancelled so we need a hotel quick. We ask for the best hotel and were told the Alamo is beautiful. Check in. Lobby was nice and front desk person was good. We walked down the halls to our room 106 and my wife said this is not going to be good! Worn dirty carpet narrow dim halls... More

The hotel was quite dated. The rooms were small and stuffy. Breakfast buffet was skimpy. The staff was excellent at the bar and spa. The messages were top notch despite costing less than $50 for a full hour, full body massage. Our bathroom had a strong odor which we asked to check and they stated they couldn't smell it. They... Stayed here for 3 nights. Aside from the room being small, the grounds are beautiful and the most amazing indoor pool and spa are included. It is in town and has great restaurants and shops within walking distance. Be prepared to pay tourist prices for everything! Staff was friendly and hotel was clean. Breakfast buffet is included. I would stay... More

A lovely place in El Calafate, beautiful trees and surrounding relaxing. It's just two blocks from the main street. Staffs are very attending and make you feel confortable. Internet service is quite good at the lobby but a little intermittent at my room. A good place to stay.

Stayed at the Los Alamos while doing the tours in El Calafete. The hotel is very well located within walking distance to everything in town. The rooms were a nice size and the shower worked well, beds were comfy. Yes the breakfast is across the street from the hotel but it´s in a lovely restaurant run by Los Alamos. Not... More

The last thing you want in El Calafate is to be far from the city Centre. It is a small town, however some hotels can be far from the main part of town. Taxis are not easy to find and need to be called. This hotel was great. Easy check in and friendly staff. Room: Great beds. Comfortable and clean.... More

El Calafate is growing fast but at the moment you can see just about everything i.e. glacier, in a two night stop. This hotel is in a quiet but central position and well appointed. There's even a nine hole pitch and putt course if you find the time. The restaurant was good particularly the service and we were only too... More

Beautiful and charming hotel with an excellent location, next to the center of the village but on a quiet road. Very comfortable beds and rooms. We'll be back in our next visit to the region. El Calafate is a good base to visit the magnificent Perito Moreno glacier and the beautiful Argentino lake and its icebergs. They're a must!
