Good location . Good service . Breakfast was excellent. The rooms are very clean . The manager is always supervising. The best part is the garden!! Nearby are restaurants and good coffe shops . Will return

Stayed here for two nights. Conveniently located in the center of el Calafate, on a quiet side street. Staff were courteous and helpful. Room was clean and beds were firm. But very poor wi-fi reception. Good breakfast with eggs and many selections. Most guests were large groups of seniors from many corners of the world. A couple of them gathering... More

The staff at the front desk is mostly wonderful, happy people. They understand guest needs, however I experienced a few that just weren't as accommodating...focusing on rules more than anything. Basically, since cash is hard to come by in Calafate, especially if you have the new "chip ATM cards" that the US is moving to and Europeans have had for... More

To begin with, the ubication of the hotel is perfect, its close to the city center. The services they provide are amazing, like the spa, the breakfast and the variety of options for dinner. It is good to remark that the attention from the people who work in the hotel could not be better. Finally, the habitation is very comfortable... More

After a very long and stressful drive under snow and rain from Puerto Natles, finally getting to the hotel to a warm and cozy bed was great. The hotel is very nice, the room is spacious and the breakfast was good. The service was good, and the staff was always helpful. All in all, my only regret was that our... More

We appreciated the hospitality from the moment we walked in. Everyone was friendly and helpful and our hosts brought us a champagne and orange juice cocktail to welcome us after a long trip. The dinner we had on Christmas Eve was quite good, and the breakfasts were quite hardy, from the baked goods to the yogurt and fruit. Great espresso,... More

My husband and I stayed here after spending a week in El Chalten (at a small but lovely B&B and many nights in a tent). Needless to say, Hotel Kosten Aike felt luxurious! Our room was HUGE (king bed with a single bed), vaulted ceilings, gorgeous bathroom, etc. We didn't use many of the amenities (our stay was short), but... More

The location of this place really makes it. Walking distance to the lake area with bird watching trails and only one block from "downtown". Cute mountain lodge look to it. Rooms are basic --nothing to write about . Make sure to ask for a room on the back. The front rooms are on the street with a hostel across the... More

Cozy and clean. The location is perfect. The hotel is two blocks away from El Libertador Ave. (main avenue); not too far, not too close from the middle of the town. The service and staff are outstanding.
