It's a nice hotel, but when we got there I think they a had a certain of unfortunate events...we arrived during a festival of the town, and the cleaning didn't get early, they all decided to stay late sleeping I think, so the people from the hotel had to apologize with us several times because our room was not ready... This hotel was booked by a tour organizer in Canada. I would never have booked that. It stands in the middle of nowhere. There is no view to be appreciated. The breakfast was almost non existent and a good source of Tang orange drink...We had a room on ground level at the back of the hotel. At night, the food... More

There are no views to be had from this hotel hidden behind the garish property in front. But the staff was kind and accommodating, with a good breakfast buffet and basic rooms. More

My friend and I stayed here and found it to be basic but fine. The location is the main reason to stay at this hotel, as it is very central and very safe, no matter what time day/night. We spent some late nights out and never felt uncomfortable (2 single women) in the area surrounding the hotel. That being said,... More

not a nice hotel but great location. I strongly recommend to find other options as the JH Florida is worn out, old and not comfy. We got 2 small beds instead of the king we booked, the glass on the window was broken (being dangerous) and some of the buttons on the lift don't even work. More

The room was tiny, the bed wasn't a full double, the staff were incompetent, the food was terrible. My husband and I had been to BA, Bariloche, Puerto Montt, Santiago and stopped back in BA before returning home. I would never stay here again, the staff were rude, the breakfast was abysmal, the room was not nice. It was a... More

Being single was expecting a small room, stayed 2 nights, got a big room on the 7th floor, double bed, sheets changed on the 2nd night, desk area, free internet conection and free continental breakfast, which inc scrambled eggs but you need to ask for them as they are not offered at the buffet section. Breakfast was OK usual mixed... More

We stayed here for 3 nights over new years in December 2007. The rate was about 100 Euro for a twin room which included breakfast. The location is very good - just off Florida street and the departure point for most tours etc (SanMartin Sq). We had a large clean room and the service was efficient and friendly, accommodating our... More

My wife and I stayed at the HOJO on Calle Florida from 1/2/08 - 1/6/08. After reading some of the recent reviews, I was pretty nervous about our stay, but I am posting this review to dispute some of the things people have posted about this hotel recently. We found it to be more than adequate and a bargain considering... More

The hotel said they would arrange for transportation from the airport which they forgot to do. No apology. The taxi cannot drop you at the hotel as it is located on a pedestrian mall. The taxi drops you off 100 yards and out of sight of the hotel so you think you could be anywhere. If you are on your... More
