Greeted warmly by Juan who is a lovely man who goes over and above to help. Had a room for 4 - very spacious, comfy beds, extremely clean, good sized bathroom with towels provided. No safe in the room but the house feels secure and the town feels safe too. 10-15 mins walk (downhill) to the main street. Would recommend... More

Our room was enormous with comfy beds, good shower and impeccably clean. Charming and affable hosts with a fun sense of humor, happy to help in any way they can. Location is good too, a ten minute walk downhill to the Main Street. Breakfast was the weak link. It's a good choice if you want to spend your budget on... More

La Posada del Angel has a true angel, Graciela. She's worth knowing. A truly generous human being. The posada is a Bed & Breakfast. Rooms have provate bathrooms and you feel you're visitng friends when you're there. Breakfast is plentyful, and Juan is very kind, always attentive to noises in the breakfast room to see if his guests need something... More

Hosts are very sweet and gracious, they treat you like family. Room is small but cozy, room and bathroom are clean. These accommodations are very basic but the price is good. Breakfast is also very basic (pastry and coffee) but you can get an egg. It's about a 10-15 minute walk into town, downhill. Luckily it stays light out very... More

We stayed here on two occasions and our arrival was warm and inviting. Both Juan and Grace looked after us, helped us with transport needs and recommendations of restaurants. Room was spacious (we had double bed with 2 singles) and ensuite. Everything clean and neat. Wooden stained ceilings and the decor made us settle in quickly. Very good breakfast provided... More

Rooms are excellent, breakfast is very good, and the distance from the center of Calafate is not an issue at all (7 minutes nice walking downhill, and back - 12 minutes up hill, or 30 Pesos with a Remise that you can find opposite to the supermarket on the main street). But the best part is Juan and his lovely... More

Juan and Graciela are probably the best hosts we had the pleasure of encountering during our trip. They serve a very tasty breakfast, give advice about the more authentic places in this very touristy town and Juan even lent my gf sunglasses to visit the glacier! When we returned them, we had a lovely chat over a cup of coffee... More

My wife and I were fortunate enough to stay with Juan and Graciela for 4 nights while in El Calafate. I say fortunate because it is hard to know exactly what kind of experience one is going to have staying at a place after only looking at pictures and reading reviews online. We were extremely happy that we chose to... More

If basic and super kind people is what you want, this is the spot. I was traveling alone and Juan treated me like his own daughter! Absolutely went above and beyond to help me more than once. (He drove me to bus terminal twice!) My room was clean, simple and basic, hot water, warm bed. Juan and his wife are... More

Juan and Graciela are so kind and welcoming. They offer the use of their home and go above and beyond expectations with their customer service. The bed and breakfast is modern and clean, and well-appointed for couples with private bathrooms. Posada del Angel was the perfect complement to the amazing excursions that we took to visit the glaciers.
