We had lunch here driving from Torres del Paine to El Chalten. The property was stunning, the facilities beautiful and the food very good. I had time for only a short walk, but I can imagine spending hours exploring the surroundings. And such nice people. Its a real winner.

It was the best accomodation place I've been to during my 1-year journey through South America ! Everything is perfect : the rooms and its delightful decoration, the people very attentive, the food and the organization.

Our 12 day Bio Bio Patagonia trip included a stop here for lunch on the day we traveled from Torres del Paine to El Chalten. The consensus of the entire group was that we wished we had stayed there overnight. The hosts were charming; the location is breathtaking. It seems as though it would be a delightful break between hiking... More

We stayed for two nights at La Estela during our two-week road trip through Southern Patagonia, and were very glad that we found this place. Although the weather during those two days was the worst that it was at any point during the trip, we really enjoyed the property, which is quite accessible but still feels delightfully isolated. The pros:... More

My wife and I have stayed at Estancia La Estela in 2011 as part of our Patagonia trip. Firstly, the estancia is easy to reach but out of any guide's list and off the beaten track so it was an undiscovered gem. The place is charming, and the two owners very friendly, the landscape amazing and the price reasonable compared... More

We stayed in La Leona one night in February -13 and were so pleased with welcoming service and excelent food. But after all, the most special thing with La Leona is the location in the middle of a desert valley, on the riverbank, and with those breathtaking surroundings. I really recommend a visit, a nice room and a beer in... More

Great rooms with an amazing setting. The young gaucho from Northern Argentina who can take you riding is incredibly warm and helpful and is just a breath of fresh air on a relaxing vacation. The food and all the staff are excellent and our room was new, very nice, and had a beautiful view.
