Stayed 2 nights when visiting the Perito Moreno Glacier. Large room with 3 beds for 2 people, spotlessly clean and a good bathroom and shower. Claudia arranged our trip to the Glacier and got us a discounted price. She also booked our taxi to the airport. She was a mine of information on the area and even the politics of... More

Claudia was very welcoming and helpful in sharing information about activities and restaurants. The room and breakfast were adequate. No complaints to speak of. The location is great - off the main road but within easy walking distance to all of El Calafate. Overall, a great budget option. We would stay again!

El Calafate is an interesting place. The town is very touristy due to it's relative proximity to Perito Moreno Glacier. For this reason, there are tons of places to choose from. Do yourself a favor and stay at Posada Karut Josh. Claudia and Federico are very nice people, and extremely hardworking. You can tell that they really put their heart... More

We stayed at Posada Karut Josh one night. The rooms are big and clean, with private bathroom and free WiFi. It is within walking distance from the city center. The owners, Claudia and Federico, are very friendly, speak very good English and are always willing to help. For example, they gave useful advices before we arrived, offered to help us... More

We stayed at Posada Karut Josh for five nights while staying in El Calafate. We paid $70 US per night, which is an execellent price. There are a lot of good points to mention about staying here: 1) They are in located right in town (some of the new El Calafate lodgings are being built well beyond the outskirts of... More

This property is run by a very nice couple, who run the place so as to give you a homey feeling. They are very helpful (information, taxis, etc..). The property itself is very basic, but, given the price, and excellent deal.

This cute little B&B is about 10 minutes from the bus station and downtown. The owners were friendly and helpful to organize some tours. We had a comfortable room on the upper floor. Noise from neighbouring dogs was an issue at night but not the fault of the owner. Breakfast was okay. Fresh yogurt was healthy. Good value for what... More

First things first - everyone in El Calafate is there to be outside. So what you're looking for is a friendly place to stay with a shower and some food. This place did both just fine! Upon arrival we were greeted (without asking) with wifi code, power adapter for our U.S. plugs, and a hair dryer that my wife was... More

The exterior of thIs posada was a little disappointing, but once inside we realised we'd made a good choice. Our upstairs room was very spacious with a comfortable bed and a great view, and the hosts were so pleasant and helpful. It is well located about 15 minutes walk from the town centre and bus station, close to some good... More
