Los Lagos is really good value, neat and clean and well-located, just a block or two down from the main drag in El Calafate. Language can be a bit of a problem, but Maria Elena, who was at reception from 4PM when I stayed there, can get by very well in English. She was extremely helpful, organised a day tour... More

We recently stayed here for six nights and we had the best sleep we have had since arriving in Argentina.  This hotel is safe and confidently located three blocks from the main street. Stayed here 2 nights. Nice hotel, family run but the owner doesn't speak any English so was a bit difficult but we managed. it had a B&B feel to the hotel. Simple, clean hotel and good value for El Calafate. We stayed in the larger rooms upstairs which were not huge but were adequate.
