The property is very nice, located in the outskirts of El Calafate. The apartments are comfortable, and the service is outstanding. Highly recommended for families with children. Breakfast is complete, to the room, and the rooms are cleaned daily

The room was great and I think it is the best asset of this boutique hotel. It had a nice view of the lake and it was very quite. The service in the hotel was perfect. The owners were in the hotel so they were very close to you. The breakfast was good. Not located close to the restaurants but... More

A great place to stay after the challenges of glacier trekking. A warm welcome, helpful management, good local restaurant recommendations and very comfortable accommodation. Lovely vistas and nice to be away from the bustle of El Calafate.

We stayed here 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Even before we arrived, we had emailed with Martin who was very helpful and even booked our glacier trek for us. The apartments are large enough to fit more than 2 people and come with full kitchens (though we didn't make use of ours). The location is about a 10... More

El Calafate was our last stop for a long and adventurous trip around Chile & Argentina before we head back to Buenos Aires to fly home. So, by the time we arrived at Los Ponchos Hotel, we were in need of a comfortable resting place for us to just chill, relax, catching up with friends back home via internet and... More

Spent a very relaxing 3 days here. Staff very helpful and the two nearby restaurant recommendations were excellent. Quidu was more home cooking with a delightful mature waitress (probably the owner) and il macchiato which was a little upmarket and greater range of options (try the Pinot noir Old Vineyard - was the best we had). Both had terrific views... More

We stayed in this beautiful hotel for a total of 4 full days. The hotel is beautiful, it has exquisite decoration and the apartments are very comfortable with full kitchenette area. Special mention to Martin, the concierge, who did an excellent job of supporting our various needs for transportation, restaurant reservations, and booking of tours. The breakfast was delicious and... More

Great service staff for this very nice and cozy hotel. Breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were very comfortable. Be aware that this hotel is about a 30 minute walk from the central part of El Calafate. We didn't mind the distance, but if you want to be in the middle of town, this isn't the place.

We stayed in this boutique apart-hotel for 3 nights in a beautifully appoints suite. Full kitchen/sitting area downstairs and wonderful bedroom upstairs. (However, the toilet/bathroom is downstairs!) Breakfast delivered to the room. The staff were happy for us to leave some luggage when we went on an overnight trip to El Chalten. A little far from the town, but we... More
