A decent hotel, comfortable clean rooms with a great view. Friendly staff. Overall, the price didn't match the expectation. Minor criticism, but the laundry service was a huge hassle to use, they made me itemize every item in there and the bill came to $35 USD for one load! On average I have been paying around $8 per load and... More

The Good -- Terrazas del Calafate boasts gorgeous views of Lago Argentino. The included buffet breakfast was a very nice spread and much more than we expected. The dining room was very light and pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful in planning our excursions and giving directions. The bed was very comfortable (firm) and the towels were larger and... Modern hotel with good sized rooms, bathroom with full sized bath and shower mixer. Out standing views. Not in the centre of town but only 20 mins or so to walk in to restaurants etc. You might need to book a table in the restaurant to eat here, and you have to order dinner the night before if you want... although this hotel is far from the centre, it worth it to stay, specially if you like to stay out of the hustle bustle of Calafate. we left the curtains opened cause the view was amazing. the bed was really comfortable, the bath and the shower was nice and warm. the room was spacious and ventilated. the wifi works better... I stayed there three nights, and took day expeditions to the glaciers nearby. The hotel was amazing. The view from the room was spectacular, overlooking a lake with the most extraordinary blue turquoise colour I have ever seen. The room was spacious and clean, while the beds where not overly soft, they where still comfortable. The lobby was furnished nicely... More

The panoramic views from the lobby will take your breathe away. The hotel is beautiful in every sense. The views from the rooms are fantastic as well as the common areas. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is good with sweeping views of the lake The biggest drawback to this hotel is its location. It’s on the... More

We spent 4 nights in Calafate and were very happy about our hotel choice. The hotel is located on the hills so you have a wonderful view to Lago Argentino nearby. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The breakfast is decent. For vegetarians only limited options. The room was nice with a Jacuzzi in the bath room. The hotel... More

After a long flight from Europe we arrive to El Calafate where we had prebooked this hotel. It is situated at the top of a little hill, reached by a very steep gravel road. The area seems a little run down and it's a 15 minutes walk from the center of the town, but that's no problem - we felt... More

Overnight stay at this hotel was comfortable. Although the rooms were a little dated, the hotel staff was pleasant at checkin, rooms were clean, bathroom was quite spacious. Breakfast had the usual fan fare of fruits, cereals, cheeses, etc - plenty to choose from. The best feature of the hotel was by far the views from the common area. Peacefully... More

We stayed at this hotel 2 nights to visit the glaciers and before going to torres del paine. The hotel is uphill, it has a great view on the lake and a quite cozy breakfast and living rooms. The rooms were quite old, with an old bathroom but with a big and comfortable bed. The best is the big window... More
