This is a really nice hostel to stay in Calafate. Even if it takes a hike uphill, it is totally worth it. Good atmosphere, nice and helpful staff, all that you need in the kitchen, barbecues... The price is also convenient. Would recommend.

The guys who run this hostel are the most friendly people you could possibly meet. They were more than happy sit and chat for hours or even go out on the town and show you the local spots to eat or party. Its super comfy and cozy and you just wont want to leave. They cook a great BBQ /... More

attention was bad . The person who owns the place, was very aggressive and unfriendly . I've seen other reviews that agree with me. Not a recommended place . Far from the city center and dusty street .

Appreciated this hostel was only a 10 minute walk from the bus terminal, away from town centre and close to a big Unimarc. It also has a deck and yard in addition to some nice common space. The rooms are spacious with lockers but thd bunk beds are or at least do not feel stable. We had to bring a... More

Staff were pleasant and the kitchen is nice. Seating area has a nice view. Bunks were very very rickety and some toilets didn't have seats. Rooms on the lower level get noise from the common area, which continued quite late both nights we stayed.

The hostel is far from the city. To go to the hostel you have to climb a very steep hill. We stayed in the cabanias and we had some problems: We had to take a shower in the dorms because the hot water was over after 1 minute. The toilet was liking all the time. The cabanias have a kitchen... More

We only spent there one night to travel further to Chile. It is a nice Hostel, a bit up the hill with a great view tough. The room was spacious and clean, but we needed the heater to be on, because it was quite cold. The breakfast was good with nice bread and you could have as much as you... More

We are travelling for a long time and this was the best hostel so far. The staff was very warm and helpful and made us fell like a real home. The hostel is very clean, and the breakfast includes a tasty, addictive warm bread.... Everything was perfect, and the atmosphere was amazing! it is a great place for meeting new... More

Very helpful staff! This family of 9 will help you a lot to book stuff and plan what you want to do in Patagonia. Good vibes and friendly atmosphere. Do book at least 10 days ahead if you want private bedrooms. Clean bedrooms, breakfast is offered as well.

The rooms and bathrooms are clean though not particularly distinctive. The common space is extremely nice, friendly but big enough to have your own space. The hostel is a bit up from the town center (10-15 min walk) but this offers a great view on lake Argentino. The cherry on the cake here is the family (9 siblings!) of owners,... More
