Stayed here for 3 nights to tour the glacier and really enjoyed the ranch itself. Staff very friendly and helpful, especially Jamaica. Took the evening tour which included shepherding, shearing, bbq, and tango show. The outdoor experiences were interesting and fun. The tango show was very short and only part of it was tango. Also enjoyed walking around and horseback... More

The individual rooms are a bit outdated, and the bathrooms are cramped, BUT the property is so beautiful that it doesn't matter. We spent our first day just wandering around the grounds, watching all the animals and wildlife and petting the horses. We saw all kinds of animals - flamingos, ducks, some sort of ibis-looking bird, big hawks, some other... More

Surrounded by kilometers of shore by both Lago Argentino and the Centinela River, this lodge is a wonderful base to explore the Patagonia wilderness. We came here after weeks of trekking Torres del Paine and El Calafate, so it was nice to just unwind. The beds were rather old, but we enjoyed that over our sleeping bags and refugio bunk... More

My mom and I stayed there for two nights, and it was great to be on this working ranch. On the first day, they explained to us the history of the area and the importance of sheep, and they also did a sheep shear demonstration. Then when we went to the national park the next day, they made us lunches... More

We were traveling around Patagonia. We decided we needed a place to rest for a couple of days, away from crowds. This estancia was perfect! The staff were bilingual. The farm animals were so happy on their huge pasture. The lake and wetlands were home to the best bird life we had seen yet in Patagonia. The sheep tour was... More

A friend and I wanted to go for a ride on some tame horses before we left Patagonia. I'd been thrown years ago and have been nervous since although my friend is a better rider and more confident. We came here and Ricardo - the owner- took us for a 90 minute ride that I will literally never forget. He... More

We spent two nights at this former sheep ranch as part of a package deal. Its a beautiful, scenic property on Lago Argentino 15 minutes outside of El Calafate. First, the good. We benefited from being one of the only guests staying as it was the beginning of the season. Marco (the owner) gave us a personal horseback riding session... More

This is a ranch outside El Calafate. Our intention was to spend two days enjoying ranch activities and relaxing, so our kids could see things that they don't see in a city. The overall experience was not good specially for the price we paid. We were told that they didn't have connecting rooms but that they could accommodate us in... More

Our family of four stayed here for 4 nights in April. The staff was wonderful! We enjoyed two days of horseback riding on the property with perfectly trained horses, very responsive. We took the short bus ride to the glacier for a day and did the mini-trekking on the ice which was wonderful. This was a great location to reach... More
