We spent 4 days at Nibepo AIke and could not get enough of this spectacular landscape. One gets very quickly part of the quiet but even though busy every day work at the farm. The food ist just great and surprising in its smplicity. The rooms are nicely arranged and the people very friendly.

This was an ideal place to stay to get a feeling for this part of Patagonia. We were lucky that we could arrange a boat trip from the jetty below the estancia to take us to the Perito Moreno glacier and loved being able to walk out of our rooms and up the hills surrounding the estancia. There were fabulous... More

Spent three nights at this wonderful estancia. Amazing setting among dramatic views, excellent horseback riding facilities and wonderful hosts. Really appreciated the total experience of this place with each passing day.

This is a working estancia that also caters to guests and day trip tourists from El Calafate. Sheep and cattle are on the property. Guided horseback rides are available at no additional expense, with a few limited hiking trails also on the property. Rooms are comfortable, but not luxurious. Breakfast is of the limited Argentine standard; we had two hot... More

We came here after spending 2 nights in the significantly more expensive Estancia Cristina (which we enjoyed very much) and felt immediately at home. This property is family-run, although because it is within the boundaries of Glacier National Park, it can only stay private property as long as there are still current family members alive and willing to run it.... Half working ranch and half dude ranch based around a pleasant old family house. Kind staff, beautiful surroundings. Simple clean rooms. Short and long horseback riding options. Some short walking trails, wish there were more. Electricity from generator, on much of the day, but not all day, and off from midnight to morning, so charge up your camera batteries and... More

Reading some of the so-so reviews of this Estancia prompted me to go to their immediate defense! Another family and mine spent 2 nights here after a few days each in BA and El Calafate proper and the one word we can think of to describe Nibepo Aike is "magical"! What you see is exactly what you get. This is... More

I can't say enough about the staff, the location, the food, the horses, the house... We spent three weeks in Patagonia and this stop was the highlight of our stay. The staff was beyond accommodating, friendly and fun. We arrived and told them we wanted to do a "big horseback ride" and they immediately put together a nine hour private... More

We had a wonderful stay here at Nibepo Aike to finish off two weeks in Argentina. Everyone on the Estancia was friendly, welcoming and most helpful. The asado was outstanding as is the beef in Argentina in a special setting. Even though we are from a farming area in the US, we did enjoy the farm activities as sheep shearing... More

Just to be clear, we did not stay here, we only went as a day trip. However, what a day trip, this was one of the highlights of our stay in El Calafate, second only to the Big Ice trek on Perito Moreno. Part of me hesitates to give such a glowing recommendation because this is such a special place,... More
