Average hotel, a little dated - wi-fi quite slow. Hotel staff very helpful and the view from our room was stunning, so would recommend requesting a lake view. If you're looking for restaurant recommendations nearby, ask at the front desk, we got a really good one. Overall, reasonable choice.

Very nice hotel. Carlos, the owner, helped us a lot. We got a room with "city view", but if the upgrade is not expensive, take "lake view", which is very beautiful and may be the best choice (rooms are the same, but the landscape is very different). Good breakfast and nice rooms, I recommend it.

We stayed here for two nights as part of our Honeymoon trip to Argentina. It was recommended in a Lonely Planet book and we were able to book online ahead of our trip. We did not receive email confirmation of our reservation, but upon inquiry, they responded that they were expecting us. One advantage of this hotel compared to some... More

We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed it very much, had two rooms one in 5th floor another in 3rd floor, both had a very nice view, you just cant wake up and have the lake any closer, also the town in walking distance and very convenient, the service is ran by a family and they are all very... We returned to this hotel after a six year interval and found it even nicer following significant renovation and enlargement. Whilst the rooms are neither overly spacious nor luxurious, the hotel provides everything you need in addition to fabulous views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Bariloche is admittedly a bit tacky and touristy in the middle of the January... More

Hotel Tirol is a great choice for an economical hotel in Bariloche's downtown tourist area. The lake facing rooms have a nice lake view. The rooms are on the small side, but light and modern, very useable and pleasant. The staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is typical for Argentina, lots of sweet items, bread and toaster, some cheese,... More

This hotel is in an excellent location close to the main square. We had a small room on the top floor which gave us an excellent view of the lake. The problem was we were there in a very windy period which was also very cold and being on the top floor we could hear the wind whittling through the... More

The view of the lake is spectacular, even if the view of the lake is around 100 pesos more. The location is awesome. One can rech everything in walking distance. The breakfast is reasonable, especially the croissants are great. The only disadvantage is the neighbourhood to the next hotel which apparently offers trips for highschool graduates who are singing at... More

Good location. Great View We had a bit of a mix-up when we arrived - we had booked a room with a view of the lake - but it was sorted out efficiently and in a friendly manner. The room was well-appointed and very comfortable. The location is particularly good - close to the main square (and its excellent tourist... More

Hotel Tirol is a great little hotel. Beautiful view thru huge windows. Nice sized room. Well modernized. Comfortable bed. Service was friendly and helpful in a variety of ways from recommendations to holding luggage after checkout. Breakfast room is lovely and big enough. Food was fine quality and sufficiently diverse for a free continental breakfast. Make sure to reserve a... More
