Had a really confortable stay at this hotel. We stayed in a lake view room in the main hotel and I would recommend paying a bit extra for this. The forest view rooms seemed a bit dark and were mainly looking at the hillside behind the hotel rather than the forest. In contrast the lakeside rooms had a view you could look at all day. The cabanas in the grounds also looked nice from the outside and the hotel were building more while we were there. The breakfast, spa and generally the level of service were all excellent.
It's a little too far out of town to be able to walk in. There a regular bus service (every 15-20 minutes) at about 1.5 pesos each and a taxi cost about 12 pesos one way. We hired a car as we had limited time to view the area. Driving in Bariloche was interesting but otherwise the driving was easy. We arranged this through the hotel for 170 pesos a day.
