We loved this hotel! It was truly amazing. Our room was perfect (and large), the spa area was really nice, and the grounds were beautiful. It feels very private and is great for couples. We can't say enough good things about this place. The entire staff, from Jose to Alex were so unbelievably helpful and bent over backwards to help... More

We stayed at Aldebaran in March 2014 for our honeymoon. The first thing that I might say about this establishment is thats it is far from the description made on their website. First, it is NOT a boutique hotel but a guesthouse with a few rooms, poorly decorated and not comfy. Second, the "spa" is a tiny room with a... More

My wife and I just spent 3 nights at Hotel Aldebaran in Bariloche during our honeymoon trip to Argentina. 1) At $340 + 21% VAT per night, the deluxe suite (Cerro Lopez suite) at this hotel is way overpriced for the level of service and quality of the room that is being offered. The room is quite spacious but furbished... More

We recently spent four nights at the Aldebaran Hotel and Spa and can't recommend it highly enough! Our room and balcony, spacious and super-comfortable, had a spectacular view over the lake and mountains. All six of us in our group found the cuisine to be exceptional - innovative, fresh, delicious! My husband is gluten-sensitive and I don't eat dairy -... More

We had the pleasure of spending 4 nights at the Aldebaran Hotel and Spa while visiting Bariloche, Argentina. The facility is warm and inviting, the staff were superb, and the food was first rate. I am a vegetarian and was accommodated with the most incredible cuisine. Our room was so lovely with gorgeous mountain views and we had no problem... More

We really enjoyed our stay here a few weeks back. The accommodations are really quite nice. It is out of the way for sure, but that was fine by us as we weren't looking to party down in Bariloche. The two biggest strengths by far were the restaurant and the primary staff people. They were all gems in there own... More

It is located 20 KM from Bariloche but don´t let that put you off. The discreet location along an unmade road only adds to the charm. In any event it is only a 25 min drive to town. The staff are welcoming, helpful and attentive. Alex in particular gave us great tips on where to go. Our large room was... More

This ten room gem is a solid, well run operation on a wooded hillside overlooking the lake. Rooms are large, well maintained and nicely furnished in a understated theme. Staff is world class, attentive and helpful. Twenty-four cover restaurant integral to the place, decent modern cuisine, if not memorable. Excellent massage can be booked through the front desk (now 280... More

If you want to splash out on just one hotel then find a little extra for a stay at this one. Stunning views of the mountains and lake from the hotel. Large, comfortable rooms, with balconies. Helpful staff who spoke English and were able to advise us on places to visit nearby. Excellent evening meals and a good cellar. A... More

We just returned from 19 days in Argentina through 6 different cities and Aldebaran was absolutely our favorite hotel. The hotel is so lovely and intimate, it is like being at a private villa. Rooms were gorgeous, we had the most stunning view. The staff were absolutely wonderful from the moment we arrived. Jose was so personable and we loved... More
