We stayed in Periko's for 5 nights in over new years. I have only good things to say about this place: the staff are really helpful and knowledgeable, the breakfasts are good, its in a great location (just 2 blocks up from Manush) and the double rooms are spacious and very comfortable. This is one of the better hostels that... More

We only stayed one night here after moving from an apartment and really wish we had stayed longer. The staff were really friendly and helpful, breakfast was really good and the rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean. The hostel is in a great location for the supermarket(not a great one), bars, restaurants, the civic centre and the lake. Very reasonably... More

We stayed here during our 4 month backpacking trip in South America, so we have some places to compare this great hostel with. With the 2 of us we booked a 6 persons dorm, but they let us stay in a private room for the same price, as so they could fill up the dorm of 6 with a bigger... More

In eight months in South America this was one of our top two hostels. We like social but not party hostels and Periko´s hits the spot perfectly. Great communal dining areas with a big well equipped kitchen and long tables encourage meeting people and talking the day´s adventures away. The hostel is a bit Swiss chalet like with lots of... My boyfriend and i stayed here in a dorm and private room for 5 nights. Both were fantastic, well thought out and clean. Breakfast was great and there is a well equipped kitchen and common area. What makes this hostel is the amazing staff. The girl who seems to work everyday is so incredibly smiley and helpful and speaks perect... More

Stayed for 3 nights in a private double as a bit of comfort and warmth after a short camping trip - and Perikos definitely delivered! The room itself was the main highlight - big double bed with a wonderfully big and cosy down duvet, nice wooden furniture, large window so lots of light and a good bathroom. Good location within... Amazing hostel with super clean facilities. Kitchen is well stocked and WiFi is consistent. All the staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, especially July and Charly. The communal seating and small common areas help with socializing and meeting people from all over the world. 6-bed dorm on the 2nd floor was small (especially given all the ski equipment in the... Periko's is the reason we stayed in Bariloche for a week, when our original plan was to spend just a couple of days there. Okay, the steaks were also a factor :) Charly, July and the other staff members were absolutely amazing; the atmosphere was warm and inviting; the kitchen was fully equipped and spacious with communal tables that helped... We were there in june and the weather was very wet, but Periko's was the silver lining. They also provided good advice on trips etc and the staff were very friendly. A home from home! Also check out the brewery they recommend!
