For more tips and hostel reviews go to www.takemewhowmetellme.com this is the second hostel we stayed at in Bariloche, as our other one was rented out to a large group and there was no room for us. Don't be fooled by the "Youth" in the title, this hostel is for everyone. We stayed in a very comfortable dorm room with... More

It's a testament to how incredible Periko's hostel is that by the end of my stay in Bariloche, all I wanted to do was spend time with Charlie and our new friends in Periko's hostel instead of explore the mountains and lakes of beautiful Bariloche. Periko's made us feel right at home. It's clean, warm, and above all, friendly. They... More

great place that puts the hotels in bariloche to shame, really warm, clean and good value. Super friendly staff, inside its more like a wooden ski lodge in the alps than a hostel, stayed twice as long as we planned, hard place to leave, highly recommend it, comfort and room standard way above its price bracket

This place is very nice..set up just like a ski lodge it's very cosy which helps in the cold of Bariloche..The staff are very helpful, and they have a barbecue outside which they fire up on a regular basis - all you have to do is bring your meat! Reasonably priced and very comfortable, only downside is the water pressure... More

This is a cozy hostel in a quiet location about ten minutes walk down to the main street in Bariloche. The interior is cabin style: lots of wood! This makes for a charming interior but does add a little to the noise levels- i.e. wooden staircase and heavy doors. Saying that, we had a double room (of frankly hotel level... More

We stayed in a private room for 5 nights, excellent, spacious room, at top of building, so nice and quiet! Slept very well. Clean and always somewhere for a rest and a chat with other guests. Charlie & Julia are perfect hosts, very helpful, fluent English, full of excellent suggestions for things to do in Bariloche! Definitely recommend.

We stayed here for two nights. It was such a nice experience staying in this place. They have a large kitchen where everybody cooks. You may need to wait a bit to use gas stoves, but while waiting, you can socialize with people. We talked to some people here during dinner and breakfast, which was really fun! The room was... More

This place is pretty good but the carpenter hasn't done a very good job on the doors, meaning they need to be slammed which is very noisy at night. Stairs are also made of wood which is ridiculously noisy whenever anyone goes up or down. In a hostel if 3 floors and 30+ guests! that equals lots of disturbance. The... More

Wonder what you expect of a hostel, and you'll find it here. Spacious rooms with spacious dorms and huge lockers and great matresses, a good night sleep is guaranteed. Everything spotless clean. Big well-equiped kitchen. Big common areas for socializing, with sofa, television and lots of tables. Garden to chill and grill to BBQ. Basic cooking stuff (salt, oil, spices,... More

We stayed 7 nights at Periko´s in December 2013, to attend the nearby Montaña Spanish language school (highly recommended) We found the Hostel staff friendly and ready to give lots of tips on nearby places of interest and things to do when we first arrived, and throughout our stay. They also booked onward bus and guided tour tickets for us.... More
