The hotel is really in front of the lake. Huge windows allows a beautiful view not only where the breakfast is taken but also at the rooms. I stayed in a premium room, one of the better I ever have been. Very big balcony too. Huge bed, good quality sheets. As a courtesy they leave 2 bottles a water, and... More

The hotel has a great location, right in front of the lake+ big windows in the rooms= amazing view! breakfast is delicious and staff really corteous and helpful. Relax, inspiration and comfort. Also, not far from downtown.

This is actually a gorgeous place. Fantastic view, great breakfast. My non-enthusiastic review is based on this: I decided to splurge and reserved and paid long in advance with booking.com for an upgraded room. When we arrived, they told us the room we paid for was "unavailable" and therefore we'd been "downgraded." I asked about a refund for the difference... More

You will be treated to the most gorgeous views ever at El Faro. We had a room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the lake. If you don't get one of those rooms don't worry, the living room and dining area offer that spectacular view so you'll have plenting of time to enjoy. Staff were great, too. It's a special... More

Wake up to amazing views of Lake Nahuel Huapi! A small peaceful boutique hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms and the bath are huge with a fireplace. The rooms are clean but not entirely up to my standards, but clean enough. A very romantic place to just sit and sip on a good Malbec and waste the day away.... More

Very friendly staff who were only too pleased to help with any request. The hotel restaurant was very good, especially welcome when arriving late in the evening from Buenos Aires. Breakfast is served with views over the lake, fantastic when the weather is clear. Rooms are clean, roomy and with views over the lake, though for their basic rooms the... More

Beautiful sceneries of the lake but this depends on which level you are located. Food is decent, service is impeccable and bathroom/jacuzzi view is absolutely to die for. Finally the most was the sultan size bed that made us slept like babies.

Looking at previous reviews, we wonder whether our experience was because we came in the low season. We had some (though not all) similar experiences to those of the last reviewer. On the plus side, the location is beautiful. Also, the receptionist who doubled as bartender and waiter was delightful and very helpful. On the negative side, other parts of... More

Based on other reviews, my husband and I booked this hotel after 2 wonderful nights in Bariloche. What a disappointment in comparison. To begin with the staff was indifferent when we checked in, the elevator was not working and the promise of help with the luggage never materialized. The room had a bed and a bench...no other seating area, not... More
